Love these drops. The taste is very bland almost favoring coconut with the texture of fish oil without the nasty after ta taste. I love the fact that it has no smell nor leaves your mouth or throat feeling funny which is a plus during pregnancy. I have used bowl movement softeners and oils but i feel this one is a A plus with the added vitamins. Will continue using as well as recommending to other moms who may need a extra boost during pregnancy.
My son will be two in a couple of months, so while we haven't used this product for long, I think it is awesome that pregnant moms can use this. Then, once baby is born, baby starts receiving them all the way up until age 2! Probiotics are a very important part of our daily regimen. They are great for gut health which boosts immunity. I also love that these are drops, not powder which I am used to. Also love that they are gluten free & vegan, a necessity for us. My son doesn't mind the taste, even said he wanted more! Normally I have to hide his other probiotics in his drinks or food. Very happy with this product.
I know this product seems to be marketed towards breast-feeding mothers and very young children but after speaking to my pediatrician I didn't see why I couldn't try it with my toddler. He has a difficult time going to the bathroom. I was hoping with regular use of a probiotic things would get better. I have tried another similar probiotic before and I thought this one was just as good and a much better price. I will definitely be continuing to purchase this one to hopefully keep my little one more regular. If your little one suffers from the same condition it's certainly worth a try. By the way it does not mention keeping it in the refrigerator but since I live in hot Florida I definitely do.
Probiotics are a very popular product in the health/holistic field right now, but there are limited options for infants, fortunately this seems to be a good one. This product appears to be of high quality as it comes in a dark glass container, with glass dropper. This helps to protect the bacteria from light damage or plastic chemical leakage. I appreciate the fact that it is allergen free as well. As you can see from the photo the bacterial medium does collect at the bottom so you will want to make sure you mix thoroughly before administration. Also, while it does provide a dropper I used that to place the drops onto a spoon, so that I didn't introduce saliva or any other mouth bacteria into the product bottle. (I received this product as part of a promotion in return for an honest and fair review.)
Early life flora probiotic drops are a very gentle product for expecting mothers, that supports gut flora. The drops come in a brown glass bottle that is safety sealed with an additional dropper that you put on after purchase, and it all comes packaged in a box. I recommend reading the entire instructions for proper dosing and times when appropriate. It is so important to make sure the product is shaken before each and every use, or the particles will not be evenly dispersed for proper dosing. The dropper has a line you could use for the five drop dose, but I counted the drops and the line holds more than five drops, so I would just recommend counting the drops for the dose yourself so you get every single dose out of the month supply. I think the product has a very mellow nutty taste, that disappears after swallowing, or the instructions say you can put it in a cool drink. I have not noticed any negativities from the product, I would consume this supplement again and recommend to others
What I like most about this product is that it has little to no taste, which makes it super easy to give to your child with no complains on their end. No fuss= happy mama!! I also like how it's allergen free, so you don't have to worry about your little ones having a reaction to it. Overall good product!
I believe this product would be great for someone not nursing. Breastmilk already contains all the probiotics that are necessary, but some formulas are lacking in this department. I have found that these drops combined with formula will help keep baby regular. I think if you use with breastmilk you won't notice the difference. Comes with a convenient dropper for easy use.
I'm very excited to be trying this product, I am always looking for easy ways to get probiotics into my child. I have had her on a powder probiotic that you have to keep refrigerated. The Taste is kind of funny and when I mix it with her bottles she doesn't always drink her milk. And forget putting her on her food she won't eat. My little one is not big enough to swallow pills. This product has made my life so much easier. I pull out the bottle and my baby's eyes light up, she start saying num num num num num num. Administering the drops are super easy! She loves the taste! I tasted it myself it taste like oil, very thin light tasting oil. It doesn't have much of a flavor at all. My daughter is a toddler she is not a newborn. This being said I spoke to are Healthcare professional, And he said " it was perfectly fine to administer this product to my toddler and it will give her the health benefits that would a newborn. I would most certainly recommend this probiotic especially if you have a toddler who needs them and it's hard to administer probiotics to your child. My favorite part of this product is it shelf-stable meaning no Refrigeration necessary.
This product seems to be helping me with my digestion so far. Its a bit thick and tasteless. similar to a castor oil, so its not very tasty but thus far seems to work. Plus, I think the bottle is fairly small for a woman who's pregnant. You may wish to order at more than one bottle. 1 bottle may last about a week and a half. What's good is that it does not have chemicals in it. So, I'd recommend.
I think we needed to use these longer to see any effect. Other than a slight different smell to baby poo. You have to shake these very hard each time used or liquids seperate. Suggest removing liquid from dropper before shaking or what is still in dropper will not be mixed properly. Not sure I would purchase unless I had more experience with them.
