Other brands of spirulina have an unpleasant taste but Earthrise tastes smooth and slightly sweet and aromatic. Loaded with concentrated blue-green chlorophyll and trace mineral. Powerful internal cleanser.
It is one of the best brands around together with Nutrex (Cyanotech) and Parry Pharmaceutical. I prefer the power more than tablets because one less manufacturer process.
This is the best thing I can do for myself every morning. Spirulina packs an intense dose of dense green nutrition, vitamins and protein. Taken for 1 week faithfully and the difference in energy and well being is very noticeable. Bathes the whole body with cellular food. May be a little spendy for the pound jar, but it lasts me 2 months, so the value is actually very good, especially for the benefits.

About 2.5 years, my doctor suggested that I start practicing a stricter form of the "Paleo Diet". As I am always looking for variety on this limited-menu selection, I started using Earthrise Spirulina in my breakfast smoothie. It mixes easily and blends well enough with all of the other ingredients.

As someone who takes several supplements, I find it convenient that this one is in powder form. It's one less capsule to take. I'm impressed with the quality of the product and I like the fact that it is grown free of pesticides.
This product is very hard to ingest because of the taste and consistency. When you mix it with a liquid, it sticks to the glass and becomes quite difficult to use. The taste is unbearable and this was recommended as the best tasting so I will never order Spirulina because no matter what brand it is, I cannot handle the taste and consistency. The few times that I took this product, I did not notice any changes in my energy level.
