it comes in 3 pieces which I did not expect. Then you take the pieces and stick them inside the Mattress cover that comes with it. We had to get slats to put on the frame underneath because it was sinking through and not stiff enough. But after all that, laying on it is very comfortable and nice...
I purchased 2 of these for my boys. When they came I was surprised that they were in such a small box. I took one out and saw that I had to put it together. It was EASY!!! You put one of the 3 sections off to one side inside the liner then the other to the other side and finally the last piece goes in the middle. Once you push down it goes in place. I laid on it and it was actually comfortable. my boys love them and since they come aprat I can wash the liner. Perfect!!! I am going to buy 2 more for my other 2 kids. And the fact that they come apart makes moving them easier which is a plus since my hubby is in the Army and we move a lot. Some of my other friends laid on them and they wanted to take a nap!!! I definitely recommend these!!!!!!!!
I'm a 23 year old male about 180 pounds and was looking for a twin for my platform bed. I needed something cheap so i got this as I saw it was 8 inches thick (the thickest for the price). It's a great buy I sleep well but I suggest some kind of mattress topper. Either way I love it and don't be fooled by lazy people reviews. The mattress requires assembly but it's like, 3 minutes to do. It's great I love it and it's comfortable.
Purchased for daybed in guest bedroom. Price was right as I didn't want to spend big $ on a mattress to be used occasionally. Adult guest commented that mattress was very comfortable. Mattress also fit my daybed perfectly in height, width, and length. Good value for money.
Comes in a small box so transporting is easy. Mattress cover had a plastic smell when taken out of the box, but we aired it out for a day and it was fine. Some assembly required putting the 3 innerspring sections into the cover but it was not too difficult. Removable mattress cover is a nice feature for washing, especially if you have allergies. Mattress is comfortable and works well for our 9 year old who loves it, but I don't think the innersprings are firm enough for a larger adult, particularly at the edges where they compress easily under an adult's weight, making it difficult to sit on the edge and easier to roll out, especially the twin size. Overall a good value for a child or if you prefer a very soft mattress.
This product truly was easy to set up! I was very pleased that I was able to put it together so quickly.
I got this in the box and thought -What?- Then realized this was EASY and a GREAT IDEA. The mattress casing is separate- so I can clean it, air it out and move it myself. It is way more comfortable then I thought it would be too- The hundreds of coils are each wrapped in fabric. My neighbor worked her way through college selling mattress and told me "pocket coils" normally cost way more. Whatever-it maybe a little different looking but I really like it.
I bought this for my daughter, didn't realize (because of the picture) that it was just a top mattress (I thought it was off the floor). It's similar to having a mattress on the floor, but more comfortable than I remember in College. It's fine but needs a platform or something to get it off the floor (you can't use a regular frame). I would buy this again for my kids, but not for myself... I need a little more comfort and support. I will add though that it is SUPER easy to set up, easy to bring through the door and up the stairs... that's probably the best feature, it can go anywhere.
They don't tell you that this is not a regular mattress as it appears in the picture. This thing comes shrunk and wrapped in a small box and you have to spring it open and insert the mattress springs yourself. Definitely not what I would have expected, especially for the price. I sent mine back as soon as I saw what it was.
This turned out to be a very disappointing buy. The cover for the coils is not stitched, its glued. If you aren't careful inserting the three seperate pieces of coil and the cover rips you may as well throw it out. Total junk. Would not recommend this mattress to anyone, bad buy.
