This is the best purchase I could of made to make it so easy to bring my groceries from the garage up to my condo. The assembly of the wheels was a breeze and it is light weight so even when I get all of my pruchases in it it is very easy to push or pull. Lovin it!
I bought this for my mother who lives in a senior housing community apartment. This was perfect to help carry her groceries and things up from her car in one trip. The small compartment she uses for fragile things and the cart itself is easy for her to handle, even when she has a lot things in there. I really recommend this for elderly people.
I original purchased a different cart online from another retailer that was about the same price. It was the absolutely worst cart I've ever used. After a few months of suffering, it broke and I purchased this one as a replacement. This cart is fantastic for the price. It would be great if the front wheels pivoted, but for the price, I am certainly not complaining. I love how large it is (I can fit 4-6 grocery bags in the front section, 3 milks and other random items in the back smaller section), the separate back section is really useful, and it's very sturdy. I love this cart to help haul in my groceries (we live in a condo building on the 2nd floor) and would recommend it to anyone who is looking in this particular price range.
The cart has great capacity. Nice large basket. Only 2 problems. The plastic handle cover is very uncomfortable and slides around. Took mine off and put tennis ratchet grip tape on and now it's very comfortable. Swiveling front wheels would make it turn a lot easier. Other than that this cart is fantastic!
This product arrived securely packaged and was extremely easy to put together. The directions called for a tool or two but I found them unnecessary. The smaller basket on the back is a nice plus for small items or your shoulder bag. The cart folds up easily and fits in the trunk of my car. It seemed a little heavy in the box but it's easy to lift in and out of the trunk. I'm very happy with this purchase.
I love the Easy Wheels brand. They're strong sturdy and I'm glad to have found another one. My 1st Easy Wheels was given to me by a friend and I loved it. Then I moved to another state my cart was lost in the move. I'm glad to have my cart back-just a newer model. Worth every penny.
So far it is working well for us. I needed a good cart to bring in groceries from garage to take to 2nd floor condo and it is doing OK. It is not the perfect cart, but is the best I was able to find in the price range and lightweight and able to carry the weight. We will see if it holds up. Had one a few years ago that was similar and it did not hold up very well. Would have been better if the handle was a little more bent back towards person pushing or pulling and wheels do not turn for easier use to go around corners or turn around. And it was missing one of the pins and only had just enough other parts needed. Would be best to have a couple of extra of the small parts, just in case one breaks or is lost.
I received the cart in a single box which worried me because I also ordered the Deluxe Liner BK. Upon opening the box I was pleasantly surprised they had packed the nicely folded bag inside. The instructions for assembly were quite adequate. They specify that you need a plier and a hammer. Neither were needed. The small cotter pins are easily bendable with your fingers and the two axle caps also easily press on with your fingers. My first usage after assembly was to a Costco run. In order to put it in the car folded, a couple of the velcro straps have to be released that hold the cart liner in place. It was not clear to me how the designers had intended you to use the straps since they don't face anything directly you can attach at the bottom. But after twisting them and pulling to the side, I was able to get them secured but not well. The liner fits inside the main cart section and the lid overlaps and stays closed with a velcro strip. The cart has a weight limit of 125 lbs. My first load filled the cart and the rear basket with all heavy stuff - pop, canned goods, meat, vegetables, and coffee to the top. Estimated weight was 130 lbs. The rear axle (the one with the larger wheels) really was bowed with the load especially when tipped for dragging up a curb. The wheels are hard plastic and in just a few hundred feet show signs of wear and bits of sand are stuck in the tread. The handle has a slip on plastic cover that slides when you want to make a turn as it is not securely attached. That is a design flaw. I would not recommend loading this cart to the weight limit unless you have a perfectly smooth paved surface with no curbs or steps. The main wheels tilt 20° or so under load because the axle flexes. And without a liner small items would fall between the wires. Anything smaller than say a roll of toilet paper would fall between the wires. This cart is very light duty, nothing like a store grocery cart so you have to use it with care. My first trip from the car through 4 doors and an elevator made this cart do the job in one trip with free hands for opening locked doors.
We decided to buy a shopping cart and was able to come across this item. The reviews were great and basing on those reviews, we decided to purchase this. Having no car yet staying about a only mile away from the nearest supermarket, I thought this will help me with my groceries instead of putting them in a motherload backpack. The unit was really easy to assemble. You may need a pair of pliers. Anyway, I felt like giving it two stars but it really didn't live up to its promise capacity of 100+ lbs of load. On the day that I got it, I assembled it quick, took it for my re-supply of groceries, placed 3 boxes of 24 pcs/box of 500 mL water and was glad that its metal frame really held well. Then as I was walking back home, I felt that half way through it started to become difficult to be pushed. When I checked it, the front wheel on the left was broken and the rubber wheeled off. It did not last 24 hours or an 1hour even. Look for a better product. As for the price, I say it is still a bit expensive.
I paid 48 dollars for this. the very first day I took it shopping the rear wheel busted off. It is rated for 125 pounds and it failed to hold not even 50 pounds. I went to the Customer Service area where a nice lady refunded my purchase. Why do you sell items that brake the first day? Very disappointed in it. Will not buy another one like that again.
