So I just got this. It was super easy to put together. Connecting my phone worked super easy. I was going to try to use an older iPad for the app but it didn’t work. So far the only thing that I don’t love is there is no place to hold weights like most other bikes. I’ve tried to find accessories for this bike and didn’t have much luck. Classes are great. There’s mostly always one live class and thousands of on demand. I’ve already found a favorite instructor.
This bike arrived last Friday. I had my husband set up up immediately. The first ride was difficult as my Butt hurt the entire time. Today is ride 4 and in adjusting! Such a great bike for a small cost. I could NEVER see myself spending 2k on a peloton. This bike is just as great and it is completely silent. I did a workout with headphones in while my husband slept (light sleeper) and he never heard it! Would recommend to anyone wanting to get into cycling/spinning. And as for shipping it took 7 days total. I ordered it on a Friday and then received it the following Friday.
I have it for 2 weeks. It works perfectly. I use my iPad to connect to the bike and take the classes in the app. My teenage daughter assembled it for me within half an hour using the tools that come in the package. It is very quiet, and satisfied all my needs from a stationary bike. The seat is a bit hard though. Highly recommended product!
This is a great substitute if you dont want to buy the peloton. Had trouble getting the free trial but just called in and they set it up for me. Set up was easy, make sure to download the app and set it up first. Im a small woman and assembled it on my own in about 40 mins. Watch some YouTube videos to see how to do it strategically. I recommend laying the box flat, opening both sides and pushing it out of the box. Tightening the pedal was the hardest part. But overall Ive have it for 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it. I use it with the peloton app.
Having a disabled daughter, a gym wasn't a option. But if you buy this, you can bring the gym to your house!! Its build very sturdy. And comfortable for a 6ft tall man. And just as comfortable for a 5ft tall woman. Tablet holder is perfect. This is a amazing machine for 500$. Youll Cons, seat is uncomfortable. Im replacing it. Software isnt user friendly. Membership doesnt describe what you get for what you pay for. Minimal scenic rides, like 6 (happen to be my favorite). You will get the same or actually better workout than a gym with this bike. Its smooth and quiet. Resistance works great, but wish it matched the hills and self adjusted to simulate a real ride. Easy assembly (took half hour).
I ve been using the bike for 2 weeks /lost 8 lbs already ,I dont have experience with other expensive spinning bikes but this one feels sturdy and well made ,I use the echelon app for the freestyle ride for cadence and power outputs and there is thousand of excellent free YouTube spin classes.so there s no need to buy an expensive membership if you dont want to .
I have ridden this bike twice now, and both times mid ride the seat has flung backwards while in the seated position. The first time, I was able to stop the pedals quickly and tighten the seat as much as I could. The second time, I couldn't stop the pedals in time and they bruised up my legs. So far, that is my only complaint about the build of the bike, as it could really hurt someone. I have previously had the Nordic Track, and they are comparable when it comes to the sturdiness of the bike. The pedals are of much lower quality, but is expected with a cheaper bike. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, but am hopeful that I can fix the seat situation to avoid hurting myself in the future.
Purchased this Echelon Indoor Exercise bike from Walmart %26 used their Walmart/Angie setup service. I would not recommend this service. They canceled setup twice. They first offered me a $10 credit to be used on my next purchase, but after two cancellations from them, I asked for a refund of the charge of $158 I paid for them to come %26 setup. However, they are paying only $134.10, as they said the difference was something to do with Walmart. My husband took time out of work on two separate days. When they cancel, they cancel the last minute. Today they canceled @ 2pm with the appt arranged for 3pm. I'm not very hopeful that I will receive the refund either.
This is a beautiful looking bike. I have to be honest. However, there are some small details that are missing. What is the weight of the fly wheel? The fact that it has spokes makes me question the wheel itself? The max resistance is 32. I found myself being able to pedal right through the max resistance and the bike was not enough of a challenge. Also, this bike goes by another name, the Echelon EX-15. The Echelon Sport is a Walmart exclusive. I didn't like all of the plastic covering the bike. The pedals are solid tho, I did like the handlebars. But lastly, the app. The Echelon Fit app, that is the only way to get any type of metrics. Which is unfortunate because for the price some bikes come with some sort of monitor. You're required to signup for the app to view anything. Also, the amount of rotations it takes to change the resistance is kind of weird. 1 full rotation is what it takes to change the resistance. So…if you are a beginner, this might be a good fit. But for someone such as myself who has been cycling for sometime I decided to get another bike. Oh, this bike is whisper quiet. As I was unpacking the parts, I realized this bike was used. Missing wheel chock and tools. Scuffs here and there and bolts in a great value bag! How does this happen. Since this item was on clearance, I will assemble and see if it still works but very bummed out.
