The curtins have a very good backing and hang well. Very good seams and no strings were hanging. They are worth the money.
I bought these curtains to go in my den. I did not want anything expensive as I was redoing everything in my den and it was getting costly. I decided to go with the blackout panels as I live in the South and wanted to see if it makes a difference with the cooling of my house. I am shocked. My house is 4 degrees cooler than with the previous curtains I had (and the temperature outside is 100 degrees right now). My husband now wants to buy these curtains for all the rooms. More shopping for me and at the cost, I can get them for all the rooms without breaking the bank.
I was very pleased with the thickness of the material and how nice it hangs. The only thing I found bad was there were a couple snags in the curtain where they sewed the panels together (84"L)
I was very pleased with these curtains. I never thought I would find room darkening curtains that actually worked for such a reasonable price. They look nice too! the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish they had come with a valance. We put them in our bedroom and they work great! I am going to buy more for our windows in the guest bedroom as well.
I bought this panel from the store priced for 16.88. The measurements say 84 by 42 and it hardly measured in at 36". If I would have known that its that much shorter, I would have gotten 3 instead of 2. now I have a 40 min drive ahead of me, to pick up 1 panel! And it does not specify how many panels per pack. You just get 1 at that price. Otherwise, I'm happy w/ the product.
Bought 2 of these panels to cover my sliding glass door, to block out light and cold. When i hung them, i noticed they still hang an inch or so off the floor, so after measuring them again, i noticed that they are, in fact, about an inch shorter than it said on the package. Width measurement seems a bit off, too, so they're stretched flat, but i plan on picking up one more panel, and i'll still be able to get an attractive effect from it when i tie them back in the summer. I still get a cold draft across my feet, but i could feel a noticable difference right away, and as far as i can see, it does a decent job keeping light out, too. I did notice a considerable difference in the temperature of the room i bought these for, so that is a definite bonus.
I bought 2 of these panels for a 36 inch window in my bedroom. I needed blackout curtains because I work rotating shifts at my police job and often have to sleep during daylight hours. I already have standard blinds on my window, I added a sheer, and the two curtains. They do not block out the light. I hoped for the hotel room effect with the curtains (total darkness) but the sunlight comes through the sides of the curtains, and through the fabric itself. The fabric isn't thick enough. The curtains were very disappointing, I'll have to purchase blackout liners to go with my blackout curtains, which to me defeats the purpose. On the positive side, they are really inexpensive, and aren't bad looking. Just wished they did the job I bought them for.
