Birds Love the Seed.
The birds ate it just as quickly as they do the expensive stuff. I will be buying this going forward
We've been buying this seed for something like 6-7 years, very good product considering the price, we buy 6 bags at a time and mix in a bag of black oil sunflower seeds, always attracts songbirds, and even woodpeckers
This seed is good for 5th he smaller birds. It also works double duty on icy walkways as anti slip with no salt to kill the grass.
The mix is great for most birds. Almost too good. They empty my feeders in just a few hours. Just wish our Walmart would carry the large bags.
We get this for the ground feeding birds. Clean, no debris and they eat it right up. Typical economy blend. No surprises. Price is right and always in stock at the local store which is a plus especially in winter when they need it more and a tight budget is even more restrictive.
The seed is mostly the tan millet, not a favorite but when it's cold they eat it just fine. I get mostly wrens, finches, and doves, alot due to my pond. Bluejays and cardinals will eat it also. The seed is a bargain, barely. Walmart shows a bag for $3.88, but it is 10 lbs. The store carries 20 lb bags for $6.44 at this time. You can find better brands on sale for about the same price at other stores at various times.
I have let this stay in my bird feeder for 3 weeks and they just won't eat this seed. finches, blue jays, chickadee all of them won't eat it. I'm emptying this out of the bird feeder and trying a different kind. I have never had this problem before with any other bird seed
Since the feed cannot be seen through this bag, I didn't realize how much dust was covering the feed. This dust can harm the birds and give them respiratory problems. Threw it away and bought more feed with a clear bag so that I could see that it was clean.
This seed is so bad neither the birds or the squirrels will go near it. Don't waste your money.
