Designed and calibrated for maximum street performance with most Performer RPM, RPM Air-Gap and Torker II manifolds and with Performer manifolds on large cubic-inch engines. Dyno tests proved that the EPS 800 carb outperformed a Holley #3310 carb out-of-the-box by 26 ft-lbs of torque and 22 hp on a small-block Chevy engine equipped with an Edelbrock Performer RPM power package. Features include a high-capacity accelerator pump and an improved primary and secondary cluster design. Replaced my tired 850 CFM Dual Pumper Holley on my '67 442. Easy install and only had to adjust the idle, but otherwise calibrated perfectly. Runs like a different vehicle.
Nice carb for the money. Edelbrock is aways a good choice.
Bought the 800 edelbrock for my 72 cutlass 4-4-2 ,engine is a built 455 car has a mondello cam ,rollers,high performance alum heads.....other features,,,,,requires a sufficent supply of fuel for it to run well. took the Holley of and mounted the 800 edelbrock made adjustments .car runs extremely well carb delivering enough fuel.
Put this on my mopar 470 stroker. Right out of the box it was perfect. No tuning required. I'm a man and everything, so I did try and improve on it by tuning it...but set it right back to the way it came. Had no idea these were so simple to tear down and put back together. I'll never own the other brand again. Love it.
