I purchased this for my son's dorm room. I agree with a previous reviewer that the stripes are more prominent than shown in the picture. Great price, fast delivery and it looks really good!
This rug looks tan and white on picture but its actually more of a beige and tan color so it matched my sectional perfectly. Also I guess the pattern actually makes the floor seem cleaner. I have dark wood floating floors and before every little piece of dust and lint showed on the floor now that I have this rug down floors stay cleaner and the couch doesnt slide anymore now that I have the front legs down on top of the rug. This is a huge rug and a great value for the price!
The carpet exceeded my expectations. Was unsure when I recieved the box. It was in a fairly small box for the size rug. but within a few days all fold marks were gone. Its has a durable rubber backing, and a nice clean look.
One thing I would like to point out about the rug is that the actual dimensions are 7'6"x9'6". The border isn't as wide as I thought it would be according to the picture of it in the room, and as previous comments have stated, the stripes are very dominate. For the price, it is a great rug!
I am very pleased with this rug. First off, remember that it's priced at $85. You're not getting one of those super nice, thick, plush rugs that sell for thousands of dollars at furniture stores. However, this rug is very attractive. It is neutral with a little bit of flair - I love the stripes in the center. It does come folded up in a box, so there were wrinkles that occurred from being folded but not too noticeable and they flatten out quickly. The back of the rug is made from non-slip material so you don't need to go out and buy a mat to go under it. Lastly, it is not truly 8x10. It is something like 9.5x7.5. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. My roommate is getting one for her room and we are getting another one together for our living room.
A very large rug to be folded not rolled. Cut on rug is off center and folds in the rug have not come out even after steaming.
For an inexpensive, large rug this product is good. Be advised the dark/light stripes are a lot more noticable than in the photo! Also, it took about a week for the wrinkles to come out since the rug comes folded! Overall, pretty good.
I should not really review this item. I ordered for daughters dorm room. I returned it because it was too large. It looked good from the internet pictures. When actually viewed, I thought this is not what I ordered. I found something better while in the store picking up this item.
rug is actually only 7.5 X 9.5 although website and packaging states 8 X 10. Rug already snagged and is poorly made. Although it is inexpensive, do not purchase!
I should have known by the price. Any rug that shows up in a bag is a red flag. It had a loose loop and in one weekend the rug had unraveled right down the middle. Awful.
