I have these unique looking speakers hooked up to my TV in lieu of a soundbar. Not only do they add a classy looking touch, but sound incredibly better than the tv speaker itself. If you are expecting a BOOM BOOM bass effect, these speakers are not for you. Rather, they produce a nice, clean, crisp sound with just enough bass to add depth without a "muffled" effect. Very happy with purchase.
These speakers will surprise you with their range and quality. They deliver much more than you would expect at this price point! The artistic style is a bonus.
The speakers sound fair for the price but the cable from speaker to speaker needs to be longer. It won't go under the top a standard office desk (about 6 to 8 inches short) so it must lay out in the open. The company offers a longer cable (10 feet) but it is priced at 30% of the cost of the entire speaker system. You cannot just buy a typical speaker wire extension because this cable is a 4 wire cable with proprietary ends. So, if you don't need more than 5 feet 6 inches between the speakers, they're OK for the price.
