My granddaughter loves hot dots she is going on 3. A great learning tool and fun for kids.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was bought for our soon-to-be 3yr old grandson. Only after it came did I realize I needed the pen. The items have been enjoyed by our grandson and he may settle down and try to learn the sounds. He liked using the pen. There could have been more instructions and tips on using the cards.
To be a fully autonomous product for pre-readers, there should be a black dot next to the instructions on each card. This way the child can hear what is expected of them rather than having an adult have to be nearby at all times to instruct. Was disappointed when I discovered this. If this change was made this would be a really phenomenal product. This critique goes for all of the cards/books that are designed for pre-readers.
This defienetly requires assistance if your child doesnât know the alphabets. The sets were interesting but some of the cards were missing letters or out of order. That doesnât really help teaching the squence of the ABCs. Only one set was in order and contained every alphabet. I wish you could tap the letters and the pen would read out the letter just incase the child doesnât know that letter.
The coast and the pen should've came with it for that price
I could've kept my money for this I bought 22 different set of card from dollar tree to tech my kids we work very good with them. now if it came with the pen that it would've been very better but it sucks
