[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Eero router is a huge improvement over our previous router. We had been using a 3- unit mesh router system I picked up on amazon. We have a lot of smart plugs and gadgets that connect directly to wifi & our old system just couldn't handle it all even with three units. Our house is 2460 square feet, two stories with a finished basement & the Eero covers every bit of it. No issues with our outdoor cameras getting a good signal either. I'm really impressed. A while back we upgraded our internet service to 250Mbps but our old router (less than 6 months old) was only able to put through 140Mbps on a good day. Now with the Eero I'm consistently seeing 250-275Mbps. The router itself is compact in size and unobtrusive looking, so the wife doesn't mind it being in the living room. It doesn't have all kinds of blinking LEDs. The one LED it does have can be switched on and off with the app. The app is also nice because I can switch off access to certain devices and set up a guest network really easily.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very easy to setup. I just had to download the app and then plugged it in. The app did almost all of the work. The design is so stylish. I love that I can keep track of my devices. I can stop internet on certain devices, and monitor certain things that I was not able to. My problem zone is the basement and that is not the case anymore. I think we might get a few more for the mesh network.
