I received this product in exchange for an honest review and I could not be happier! What a beautiful burrito! Don't judge a book by its cover because this baby is packed with protein and not to mention delicious wow! I immediately went out and got more. It's great to have in the freezer when you are on the go and need to get filled up!
This was my first time getting the steak burritos, I usually get beef or chicken. I followed the instructions for cooking in the air fryer and they were so good. I love that it didn't take too long and the tortilla was crunchy. The steak was really good and I love the overall flavor. I'll definitely be making these for lunch more often

Each side of the burrito took about 13 minutes and they were also all individually prepackaged. I used an oven to warm up the burritos and they were absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend to families with children, they are not too big for kids to waste, individually packaged so older children can heat them up themselves and the overall process is so fast and easy. I've never had a steak burrito before. Finally I tried El Monterrey Steak, cheese and rice burrito and I must say it was the bomb.com I cooked it in the air fryer and the crisp and flavor literally popped. You will not regret trying this burrito as a fast grab and go meal.
Easy %26 tasty item to have in the freezer. We topped it off with some salsa, sour cream, lettuce %26 tomato %26 it was great! We also made them in the air fryer so the outside shell had a nice slight crisp, delicious!
The burritos were yummy. Just enough spice to keep things warm. Very filling, I cooked 3 but really only needed 2. My kids will like them. They aren't very messy which is nice. I'd probably allow them to be eaten in the basement. Where they play games. Simple to cook in the AirFryer. Also liked that they come individually wrapped, would be an easy lunch to bring to work. I will agree, El Monterey Signature Shredded Steak, Cheese %26 Rice Burritos lack in filling, and the shredded steak filling is more of a pulverized mush than actual shredded steak as advertised. I see El Monterey monitors these comments, So Hey, El Monterey, you have a good product here that just needs to be tweaked. I'd rather pay a little extra if I have to for a great tasting and Hardy satisfying burrito with great ingredients then for you to skimp on the amount and quality of filling. I hope to see this product improved.
Super convenient if you need a quick snack or lunch. The taste was just okay though. It was as if it was missing something (seasoning). I added some fresh pico de gallo and sour cream, but the meat needed to be seasoned.
This is like moist dog food, it doesn't have rice or meat pieces in it. Its like all cheese and a very tiny bit of brown mushy stuff, doesnt taste good at all. I just wasted $16 on garbage. Very disappointed in this item.
