This product is part of El Monterey's Premium selections, and it shows. They taste delicious, and can be fully heated and eaten in a couple of minutes. They are quite tasty and filling. In fact, my only complaint is that which I have for other better food items, in that the price has been steadily climbing over the past year.
The cheese has been explosive about 3 or more inches first bit, that can burn the face or other. very think and worth all the pennys
The taste is ok but the bigger issue is that the size of the “chimichangas” are the same as the frozen bean burritos.
For $14 dollars really. 2 or 3 years ago the regular el Monterey chimichangas had some textured filling but now mush,so I thought spend more money and I'll get a better filling ..no ,more mush,not like picture shows..very disappointed and $14 of mush..deceived
These look nothing like the picture on the package. Inside of these is a tasteless goop. The cheaper ones taste way better!
I'm disabled so I looked at these as a fast way to make a higher protein meal if I added refried beans to them. Quick %26 painless right?? Wrong!! Each one as you can see has no more than a tablespoon of goopy stuff %26 I was highly set back. I've had El Monterey burritos steak %26 cheese %26 loved them but these were empty %26 tasteless. I don't think 🤔 I will ever buy this brand or trust it again it just ruin the experience for me. Sorry El Monterey but fixed income %26 this price point really disgusted me. I'm out money %26 I can't get to the store to return I have it all delivered.
These burritos do not look anything like the photograph on the packaging. They are mostly flour tortilla will not buy again.

Was my go to, tasty and filling. Now as question wrap that's either soggy or cardboard and half the filling. Not even worth half price anymore and it's gone up a dollar. Don't waste your money!
Very little fillling and I found a huge piece of beef fat. i threw the whole bag away and asked for a refund. disgusting, dont waste your money
