Electrolux - 4.0 Cu. Ft. Front Load Ventless Electric Dryer with Compact Design - White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very surprised on how efficient this little dryer is! I was told that these couldn't compete with classic dryers with vents! They surely do and the clothes are even softer and better dried than a regular dryer! It takes a little longer but the clothes don't get damaged as the classic dryer! I used so far “ Regular”, “Delicate “ “ Heavy duty” , all of the cycles worked efficiently. Highly recommend this dryer if you live in an apartment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was reluctant to buy a ventless, given what I'd read on the internet about ventless machines in general (slow, don't get things dry enough, heats up the house). None of that stuff has been an issue with this machine. It works beautifully, quickly, quietly. Yes, it does discharge some heat into the room, but any conventional, vented dryer will heat the room up a bit, too. I put this small unit in my cabin... and now my wife wants the full-sized version at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new dryer and it is such a giant step up from our old dryer that was damaging our clothes.I was a little apprehensive at first because I have never used a ventless dryer before but it has turned out to work very well for us. We drain the dryer with the washing machine drain so we don't have to empty the water tray.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model is an upgrade to the previous model which I had prior to this purchase. I like the updated control panel and some other design changes that they made. I learned that the ventless models need to have a lot of room for airflow otherwise they will run too hot and shrink your clothes. I keep my laundry closet open so it would not overheat while it is running. I am running it on the shorter cycles like "activewear" and choose the "less" dry option and the clothes come out great. Other presets run for way too long and can shrink your clothes. Overall, it is a good upgrade compared to the prior version and one of the only models out there of this size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We didn't intend to purchase a ventless dryer but our space is very small and we felt this dryer was our best option. The dryer does put out a steady stream of warm to hot air (depending on the setting) from the front vent which isn't a huge issue for us since it's in a separate laundry room where we can open a window to release the heat BUT I would not want it blowing hot air into another room of my house in the summer, fighting the A/C. The upside is that whatever delicates that we hang up in the same room, are dry in no time!
