[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New laundry appliances got an extensive trial in 1st week handling laundry of daughter's visiting family of four (2 adults & a 3 yr old & 5 yr old) plus Grammie & Papa. Performed flawlessly drying a variety of laundry loads during & after the visit (jeans, athletic wear, towels, outer wear, sheets, blankets, mattress toppers, etc.) Pros: stainless drum; interior light; many drying choices based on fabric and type of load; a pause feature to add a garment after drying cycle has commenced; extra features (wrinkle release, extended tumble, delay time). I love the filter designed for this dryer. It's rather like a small box that collects the lint internally inside the filter and reduces it to a fine substance that should reduce the lint build-up inside exhaust system. Like the washer, the dryer is so new that all options haven't been tested yet but I do love the availability of special features. Cons: certain selections are pre-set with limits on temperature, time or dry level. (For example air dry only allows for “damp” dry level. My personal preference would be “normal” dry level): lack of drying rack. At this initial point in ownership, I rate my Electrolux gas dryer a top- end laundry appliance well above the quality of the last three that we've purchased that offer new features that enhance/optimize choices for drying laundry.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I held onto my Kenmore front loading washing machine, in part because I had heard so many negative comments about the performance of new washing machines. But a few weeks ago the companion Kenmore dryer gave up the ghost, and I knew it was only a matter of time before the washer followed suite. Our local, family owned appliance store strongly recommended Electrolux so we took the plunge into both a new dryer & washer. What had I been waiting for ??!! This is a dream machine !! Not only are clothes coming out CLEANER at the end of a load, but it's a remarkably easy washer to use. I LOVE the Tide pod dispenser. And finally a pleasant sound to signal when a load is completed instead of the annoying sound my former washer produced. Color of the machine compliments the decor of our laundry room. I'm loving my dream machine !!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this new dryer. Stainless steel drum. Ease of operation. Lower overall height than many of the competitors. QUIET.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our old dryer with the Electrolux Perfect Steam and it is such a wonderful upgrade! I had no idea I could be so impressed with a dryer- Hahaha! First of all, it looks so elegant next to the matching washer which I've had for a couple of years; secondly, it is quieter than the old guy and has options for different cycles I've not had experience with before. At age 75, it is quite a plus to have both machines mounted on the riser drawers. So much easier on my back and legs and it can hold a larger load than my old one too. I wish I had not waited for my old one to die and nearly cause a fire with it's wiring...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Appliance shopping can be an undoubting ordeal since the last time we bought a new washer/dryer was over 15 years ago. That said, the functionality, various options, cavernous interior, quiet drying cycles and beautiful color of the Electrolux Perfect Steam LuxCare stackable dryer and washer have far exceeded our expectations. Our laundry room configuration required a stacking unit, but more importantly we required BOTH dryer and front loading washer to open from the left and hinged on the right. Electrolux is the only manufacturer that has the ability to reverse the door on the washing machine. BRAVO for having this as an option which puts these appliances on a higher level.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I had a 15-20 year old washer/dryer and it was time to upgrade. This dryer is a beast. It's got a ton of capacity, steam feature, and it dries our clothes in about 1/3 of the time it took our old gas dryer to. It's fast and efficient, and it looks great too. Installation was pretty simple for me (I'm pretty handy) and the dryer is relatively quiet as well. We spend a good few months doing research on which brand we should go with, and this Electrolux set had the best reviews from customers, so we went with them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a whole lot of research and comparing different washers, I decided to buy the Electrolux 600 series washer. I really loved the I was able to reverse the door , I save on my water bill and I used to do from 3-4 loads , now I only do 1-2 loads. Leaves my clothes smelling good and I love that it has a section to add pods . I would definitely recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a reliable gas dryer to replace a 22-year-old Maytag model – one that would fit in a tight space under our stairs, and we found it in this model. It dries quickly, efficiently and quietly. The controls are also pretty intuitive to operate, which I like a lot, but the manual is also easy to navigate when I have questions. It holds a lot – we are now able to wash and dry our king-size bedsheets in one load.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great appliances. My wife loves our new washer and dryer. They're so quiet and works perfect. They was and dry so efficiently. And they look great too. We are so appreciative that our salesman Lane from Famous Tates appliances suggested and sold us on Electrolux. Great product. 👍
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has the same basic feature set as our 8 year old Electrolux that just died after approximately 8,000 mostly full loads (IMO - a very respectable amount of loads!). * The unit we received from the retailer has a problem that has not yet been repaired. The dryer makes a lot of noise while running; possibly a defective bearing right from the factory. 1) We miss the soft-operating door from the old unit. The new design may be less prone to failure (our old one never failed after 8,000+ cycles), but it is loud to open and close. Our laundry is right near the bedrooms, so the noise matters to us. 2) The new unit has a design flaw where some lint collects in the lower edge of the door gasket. We have to wipe it out every 5 or so cycles. 3) The new control panel is easier to use that our old version. Overall, the controls are very easy to understand and use. 4) Drying performance is the same as the old model: these dryers perform well. Zero complaints there. 5) LP conversion kit was very easy to install.
