Kept my son busy. Initially started playing with rings. The fast movement of the monkey kept him playing with the tail. Its high speed makes for a fun game with others to play together.
This toy is fun to play with . My kid loves running behind monkey to catch its tail. The best part is more than one person can play simultaneously. The only problem is it does not operate so well on carpet as compared to hardwood floor.
I have a 1 1/2 year old and a 5 year old. The younger one loves chasing the monkey around. I wish it moved on carpet for more padding for my unstable toddler, but this toy definitely needs a smooth surface (if you have some sort of rubber mat, it would probably work fine). The age range on the box states 3 and up, and tossing rings onto the moving tail was definitely too hard for the toddler. The 5 year old thought it was funny, especially when you take the banana out of its mouth and it shakes its booty, but was not so interested in the ring toss. It also seems like they should make it easier to take out the banana without having to hold the monkey (you're supposed to take it out after you've succeeded in throwing all of your rings on the tail; once the banana is out, it stops running and starts shakin'.)
In theory, this game should be tons of fun. It is basically a ring toss type game. The monkey rolls around the floor, making the game a bit more challenging. The only problem that we had was the tail kept falling off of the monkey. I lost interest after having to put it back together several times in order to play.
looks cute on t.v but really is a dumb game .and after you try it you can not return it, because you have to mangle the box to get it out..
Everything works but drive gear that makes it move around goes for a second and then just starts slipping and making a horrible noise
