This wheelchair looks very durable and atttractive. The only thing I was not happy with was the instruction manual. I bought this particular chair because of the video that showed it being used on grass and uneven ground and hills, but the manual said to not use it on them. I tried it on uneven grass and it worked fine on a slower speed than on the sidewalk. I live on a fairly steep hill, so will be trying it on that soon. It is pretty heavy for 75 year-olds to lift to put in the trunk, but younger people should be able to handle it. I really like it, very easy to maneuver, but just hope that we can learn how to put it in the trunk without injury to us.
Love this chair! Took it on a trip with my son's family. Was able to keep up with them. It is so easy to fold up and put in the back of their car. It is a little heavy for me to lift, but was easy for my son. It is definitely 50 lbs. I really love it's ability to turn on a dime! One man remarked that I must have the top of the line! I said of course I do! It is a pleasure to ride in and not be dependant on anyone else. It is also nice to know it can be used manually if necessary!Would like to add to this original review. I still give it five stars! I just want to let you know you have to have both batteries in place when charging or you won't be able to turn it on to see if it is fully charged or not. I had taken the extra one out when I was charging the other one and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't come on.... That was why. Both have to be in place. The book doesn't tell you that. I still love my chair!!!
My daughter has MS and is having trouble walking long distances. We purchased this to give her more mobility and it was a great decision. It only weighs 50 pounds and it is so easy to fold and load in the back of her SUV. We purchased a second battery, but so far she has not used it. She took the chair to 6 flags and used it all day without having to change batteries. Both batteries are stored on the chair. One is used to power the chair and the second is available to swap when the first one runs out. Swapping the batteries is easy and connecting the charger is also very simple. We learned of the chair from a couple on cruise we were on and they spoke very highly of it.The only thing I would like to see changed are the wheels to a softer rubber, but she loves the chair just as it is.I highly recommend this for an electric wheelchair to be used for easy portability, quick setup and solid construction.
love this power wheel chair!
it's the "perfect" size for my Princess (my wife)! it's super quiet and maneuverable to use in our house (which was not built wheelchair friendly)! It's well worth the money!!!
Comfortable, solid, feels secure. Turns in tight places. Has made my life so much easier. Hard to get in and out of and every door jamb is my house is now marked because of my poor judgement while driving through. Regular doorways are not designed for wheelchairs! But I would't give it back. I am getting better at going through the door ways.
The owner's manual is poorly written. There are recommendations for service to the chair, but no information on where to get it serviced or where warranty repairs are to be made. A message sent to the company regarding the above was answered by stating the time frames for the warranty, but no information regarding the service and warranty concerns.
we will be returning our wheelchair. after reaching out to both Walmart and Real Relax, I now believe after further use that we received a recondition model. if you receive one of these wheelchairs first of all look and see if you have operating an assembly instructions which is very important. after several requests we cannot receive one from the company. as a result we're plugging in the battery charger into an AC plug with no battery attached. it has trouble reversing and just yesterday I was waiting for the nurse and I had one side locked up and the chair even though the power was off start it up and when it started going in the 360° circle all on its own. this happened again later in the evening while I was in the bathroom and there wasn't much room but I still had one hand brake on and it kept on hitting the closet doors. we thought we were getting an exchange but no there's no response at all so I'm going to try getting one from Walmart hopefully. other than that it's a nice chair in that and the fact that it fits everywhere with its 24 in and you do need to be under 250 lb in order for it to work but it does work and you need to find some bags to put on the handles in order to carry anything so just some recommendations since you don't get any operating instructions from the company nor do you get any call backs any emails or texts back from real relax. kind of hard to relax when you're not getting any response at all!
couldn't recharge the battery.
too small and heavy. can't reach brakes. doesn't slow down enough foot rest isn't low enough. not worth the money i want a pick up and a refund
