I loveeee this primer! It keeps my makeup in place. My favorite primers to use.
I liked the way this went on and felt on my skin. not too greasy but moisturizing and dewy. i noticed an instant slight blurring effect, and i will probably wear this alone on my no makeup days. i felt like my foundation went on smoother and more even, i have noticed some creasing in my fine lines after several hours but that happens anyway and it seems less severe than without the primer. I probably wouldnt recommend it for oily skin tho and Im not so sure about summer months, but for me its a yes.
I was iffy about this product and did so much research but I thought u should try it out myself so far it felt amazing on skin got rid of pores around nose and fine lines made my makeup go on smooth. Please like comment 😊
Elf has outdone itself and everyone else with their new primer. It is truly a different, innovative product. I like to use it alone for a natural look. It smooths out my skin tone and texture, without giving away that I am wearing any makeup at all! I also bought the little brush that Elf recommends. It is unique- the spatula end keeps both fingers and product clean (think about germs!), and the brush is just right for an even and natural application. I add a little stick-type blush (3-in-1), a small amount of loose powder (I have oily skin), and I feel confident that my appearance is much-improved, but very natural. Both the Elf primer and brush are small, and easy to carry in a makeup bag. I keep one there, and one at home. I thank Tik-Tok for getting the word out, and Elf for a trendsetting product! 🥰
this primer is excellent and I compare it and have compared it with many other high dollar primers. The one that gives it five stars for me is that you can use it as an eye primer as well as your face. It does not clump on your eyes, and it all allows the eyeshadow to stay all day long.
I like this primer because it is good to my dry skin. It isn't the most smoothing for pores but it does work well with my foundation, and I switch between a few different ones and it seems to work well with different ones I have.
I thought I'd try this out in an attempt to help with pore visibility. The slightest amount under my makeup left my face greasy and shiny. Many pores still visible and hardly any visible improvement. Two pictures one with product and one with no primer at all.
I wanted to love this so much after seeing everyone rave about it, but I just can’t. I tried it for a couple of days and then it completely broke my face out in hives for a week and a half. My face was itchy and inflamed. I’m not sure if it was an allergic reaction or what but I immediately trashed it and will not buy another one. It didn’t make much of a difference in how my makeup looked anyway.
What happened?! Home delivery. Was so looking forward to trying Elf Putty Make-up for the New Year. Had heard good things about it. Take a look at these pictures. How would you feel? It was obviously pre-opened. Is this a returned item?? Product had finger and nail marks in it too, Yuck! Totally unsanitary! What a disappointing waste. Back to square one. Why in the world would anyone send out or delivery makeup like this to a customer's home? Please Do Not send out used products. Elf cosmetics company, could you please tape the box and/or the container please? Idk if it was opened on the shelf or if it's a return. Either way, it's wrong and not a nice or happy experience. This kind of delivery of damaged items simply forces customers to take their make-up business elsewhere. Please, let's improve this so we can all have a positive experience next time. Thank you
