I received the color Flushed in a set. I absolutely love it! A little goes a long way (just lightly tap your brush on it)...unlike the studio blush I have in Mellow Mauve that I have to dig my brush into. The color is nicely pigmented and it stays on all day long too.
I have both Glow and Innocence and really love them both. I stumbled across Glow and found it was the first blush I really loved. To me, it is a dupe of NARS O, I have that as well and found there really is no difference. So if you have been looking to purchase NARS, but can't quite justify the price tag, Glow should help you there. I also enjoy Innocence, and on my monitor it is a darker pink, but in reality it is a light pink, similar to Benefit's Dandelion. I find Innocence isn't as pigmented as Glow, but it is buildable (although I am quite fair, so darker skin tones may have a more difficult time with Innocence). If there was a con to these blushes, I would maybe say longevity, but for the price, I think they are an extremely huge value.
Love the colors and pigmentation. Goes on easily and stays on. It's lightweight and inexpensive, too!
I got this in a Mystery gift and and i'm not a huge blush person but i love this blush such a gorgeous color just the perfect color not to pigmented but not overly pigmented just the right amount of color, just used a lil bit for a natural glow :)
I own Glow,Shy,Innocence and Coy and I love them! Impressed with the pigmentation especially with Glow which is beautiful coral with golden shimmer. Shy is a matte pink, great for everyday, Innocence is a matte light pink, a little less buildable than the others, but still a pretty color. Coy is a shimmery mauve, almost a bronze. I find they go on best when I apply with a Kabuki brush, just a gentle tap into the blush a couple times, a little goes a long way. Can't go wrong for the price! Just ordered the rest of the colors for myself! Pic from left to right: Glow, Shy, Coy, Innocence
I have tried the ELF HD blushes, and baked blushes so I thought I would try this one too and I would say this is my favorite out of all of them! I ordered this in Glow and I love the color. I tend to use peachy colored blushes. The reason I prefer this to the others it because it's not too shimmery (like the baked blush) and gives just the right amoount of color (I find the HD blush a little too bright). The brush that comes with it is not so great so I would reccomend using a just a standard blush or all over face brush. stays on great and how can you beat the price?! I can't wait to try more colors!
I really love this blush but the colors have changed. I bought the shade Blushing about a year or so ago and it was a very pretty bright shimmery pink. I placed an order last week and just received it today and now it's a very light pink with shimmer, (very similar to Glow, in my opinion, but with glitter.) So I was very disappointed. Other than that I think they're very nice blushes, very soft.
I own shy and glow and they are very powdery, and I could hardly see them on my skin even though I am super fair. Pigmentation is very light. I gave them to my little six year old niece who was delighted. The tiny brush is the perfect size for her small child hands and face. I think these look like precious little blushes but I'm confused because they truly seem better suited for a child. if you're looking for affordable practice make up for the little girl or tween in your life then these are perfect and safe. I just would'nt recommend them to anyone past the age of 14.
I bought the color "shy". It looked like a mauve-ish pink on the website but when I received it, it's more of a bright pink. It looks like a child's play makeup. I don't like the color or the feel. It was disappointing. I'd probably use it if the color was better even though the powder isn't great. I'm probably going to let my children use this to play with.
As a fair skinned woman, I decided to go with a nice, neutral blush in Innocence. I was horribly disappointed. Even with my Irish fair skin, you can't even tell where you put this blush on. There is literally no pigmentation to it. As a test, I brushed some of it on a white piece of sketch paper(with the texture that catches charcoals), and nothing showed up. Even translucent powder shows up when brushed on that paper. The fallout on this blush is also terrible. One swipe with my blush brush and a large amount of product just fell out of the container... with nothing on the brush. My bathroom sink was the only thing it pinked. I am willing to say that maybe just the colour is bad for me, and at the price, I can call this one a wash, but with all of the other amazing things I've purchased from e.l.f., this one was a real bummer.
