This is my first ever eye brush from ELF, and I like using this! The brush helps me create ombré and cut crease designs! The design overall is very good: the contour brush is very sturdy and easy to control. Works well with both dry and wet eye-shadow~
This brush is an everyday staple in my makeup routine. While I can't say that it is the best brush for getting into the corners of the eyes, it is perfect for getting into the crease and pulling color upward. It is also a good blending brush. I have had no shedding whatsoever and have used and washed it numerous times. The brush is dense and extremely soft as well as attractive and well made. A great addition to any collection.
I ordered all of the Studio line make up brushes, I am so happy with the set. This is my favoite brush. The brush packs on the eye shadow and it contours very well. All of the Studio line brushes are Fabulous. If you are looking for a high quality set PLEASE order these brushes. The powder brush is soft like melted butter and It's also one of my favorite brushes I use it to put on my stick foundation, it blends so well. GREAT JOB ELF with this Studio line brushes.I just ordered more brushes
Works well for blending and eyeshadow, great quality for the price :)
This brush is quite bigger than the width of a wooden pencil so it's not small, and looks really fluffy at first but does have a nice density at the point so you can really give defined application with the tip of the bristles.
Love it!
I've had this brush forever! It holds up! I use it for the lid, inner corner, and conceal.. love a three-fer
actually like this better than my clinque contour brush. e.l.f.'s brush has held it's shape much better, granted i have not had it quite as long but i really love it. not to mention i could buy like 6 of these brushes for the price of one of the clinique ones. love the studio line so much!
This is a great brush: doesn't shed, very soft, and very economical (I bought 3). It kind of reminds me of a stipple brush. My only issue with it is that the metal neck connecting the bristles and the handle isn't tapered inward towards the bristles - it literally a straight, up-and-down cylinder. The problem with that is that the metal edge is exposed and can scratch if you hold the brush at a certain angle or if you push down too hard. Also, the bristle head isn't as it appears here - it's a little shorter so the only really useful way to use this brush without scratching your skin is to hold it at a straight angle at your face. By the way, this brush reminds me of an eye shadow brush I bought a couple of years ago at a major, cosmetics retailer (you probably know who they are - their name sounds like "Schmephora"). I know I can't quote the price here but to give you an idea, for the price of just *one* of this professional brand's eye shadow brush, you could buy 3 Studio Contour Brushes here at E.L.F.
I bought this thinking that it was bigger than it actually is. But I use it to apply color to my lower lash line and that works well. I have so many other brushes like it, it wasn't worth the money because I forget to use it. I would recommend this brush if you don't have a brush like it.
