I really love these lip glosses! They are inexpensive and a great buy. I first ordered goddess. Which doesn't quiet look like the picture on website. Its a really nice color though. Like a peachy nude gloss, but not sheer. I then purchased juiced berry and honey do. These two are sheer glosses. The colors look similar. Honey do is a brighter pinky tone and juiced berry is a lighter pink. I then bought watermelon which really doesn't look like the swatch on the website. The color is a pearlescent red, but not sheer. Then I purchased party peach. It looks like highlighter orange, but it is a nice peach color with shimmer on the lips. Don't be afraid of the color in tube if you buy it. I've attached pictures of them for anyone who wants to see them before buying. I love them and will keep buying! Left to right Party Peach, Watermelon, Honey do, Juiced Berry, Goddess
Love these. Only have a few, but they are more pigmented than the hypershine glosses. My favorites are strawberry and malt shake. Malt shake looks really brown and dark, but it's not like that in person.
I picked out 'pink kiss' and 'goddess' shades. I love that all these glosses provide SPF 15 protection, rare in most lip glosses. These are very true to the color provided on the website. I found these grape vanilla scented/flavored glosses to be just right in color and feel. By that I mean the colors are not too bright, but the pink kiss (on me at least) was too light a shade. The goddess color was a match to my natural lip color - perfect for everyday, even, lip tone color. The gloss might feel too thick to some people, but I prefer it that way. It lets me know its still on my lips and I find I don't use as much gloss. One other con, my hubby can't stand a sticky gloss when he kisses me - but then again we aren't lip-locked 24/7 "^_^"
Compared to all the other lip glosses I have used these are by far the best. I LOVE THEM!!!!! They really make my lips soft and even more kissable not that they were not before. This lip gloss is something that my man does not mind having on his lips after kissing me v/s colored lip stick and the thick thick thick gloss I used to wear. It is much easier to wipe away. Let me tell you, this gloss is uh-maziiing! Gosh I just love it. Ppl complain that its sticky, but I love sticky lip gloss. Means it lasts longer..DUH! All high end glosses are sticky. Just the way it goes. Victorias Secret, Bath & Body Works, Nars, MAC all have sticky glosses. But anyways, I bought Iced Latte, it looks NOTHING like it does in person but I still love it. Thats how good it is! Online it looks frosty, but its really shimmery with a lot of gold sparkles. I wear a light pink lip color under it & it looks so prettyyy. =) Overall, love love love it! Your shopping bag isnt complete without one of these in it!
I love these, I have 8 of these and love the smell of each one and they aren't sticky on my lips at all! hope they improve these to where they will taste as good as they smell :D
I got GODDESS, PINK KISS, and CANDLELIGHT. They're all beautiful colors, but very similar to each other. My only real complaint is that these are very sticky-feeling and the smell almost makes my stomach turn. But the price is right and I'd buy more colors since these are so beautiful :)
I ordered "Watermelon" (see photo of it on below) and expected a more true-watermelon color, although this stuff is pretty true to shade. The grape-vanilla smell and sticky texture is off-putting a little, and it doesn't last more than 20 minutes or so if you're not eating, smoking, drinking, kissing, etc., so be prepared to reapply, reapply, reapply. However, there's a reasonable amount in the tube for the price and it has a nice sheen.
So i got the iced latte one because i wanted a browner gloss and i was pretty excited for it but when i got it it turned out kind of dark reddish brown instead of a medium brown and was very gooey. maybe in a different color id like this but definitely not the iced latte.
I got this gloss in pink kiss. It is a nice light pink, but the picture is a lot more sheer than the product, which is what I wanted. I've noticed a lot of this with ELF. The colors never match, so it is really hard to choose one. But the actual product is very good. All ELF products are really quality for an even better price.
