I used to use those bottles of cuticle oil but they are such a pain, the oil gets everywhere, etc. this is so easy to use and convenient, and it soaks in quickly. I've used it several times over the last 2 days and my nails & cuticles look really good. I did push too hard the first time, it seemed like not much was coming out so I thought maybe you had to prime it. The tip recessed into the pen and I had to pull it out with tweezers. The tip is completely removable, giving me the idea that when this is empty I can put something of my own in there! Not that these are too expensive to buy again but I like to DIY sometimes.
I got this in my e.l.f. package yesterday and I'm already in love with it. This Nourishing Cuticle Pen is perfect to carry anywhere and takes up little to no room in my bag. The nourishing oils give a nice boost of moisture to my nails and cuticles which instantly make them look smoother, neater, better. The product is super easy to apply, even though it's full of good oils it's definitely not greasy or messy. I've used several more expensive brands of cuticle oils/pens and I can honestly say they took forever to absorb and left a smeary mess on everything. My hands take a beating & I never seem to have enough time any more to take care of them properly. This is so handy & easy to use all day long & not get every thing you touch oily ! I have them stashed all over the house n car n in my bag & will probably put one in the barn when the weather warms up ! Great product for on the go & it really works wonders.. have started to use it on my toes...
I have the driest cuticles in town, and this pen has worked miracles! I use it every time I wash my hands then put on hand cream, and it's been a lifesaver! I started using it on my toes too : ) .
This works great! I didn't think it was going to work very well because it was only one dollar but my nails look amazing!
My nails and cuticles have been really destroyed from washing dishes at my job, and after two applications I can already see the difference this product is making. My skin feels instantly more nourished and the texture of my nails has definitely improved. The applicator is also really convenient. The only downside is that the scent of the product is fairly strong during application and immediately after (smells like very sweet grape juice), but the scent fades after a few minutes and didn't bother me that much.
Just received my order yesterday and was excited to see all my goodies! I never tried this pen and was really hoping to like it since I do my nails so often. Just like most everyone else said, the tip disappeared inside but mine won't come back out. I tried tweezers and it only made it go in further. It's very inexpensive, but it still should be removed from sale until the design is better.
Just opene up package, was excited to try this out, felt kind of dry but figured once you started using the vitamins/oils inside would flow! No such luck, used on first finger pen pushed back inside container. Tried to pull back out, but just got further inside tube. Quite disappointing..
Tried this once, and on my 5th finger, the tip pushed back inside. I tried to pull it out with tweezers, but it just got jammed completely up inside, and is not usable now. Very disappointing.
Mine also arrived with a dry tip that when I pushed back in had to be pulled out with tweezers. The end was still dry, so I went ahead and pulled the whole sponge out and flipped it around, and there was product on the other end. However, I noticed no difference in my cuticles from using this product and it was difficult to apply with the unsharpened end. "Avocado" was also misspelled on the packaging, so I was wondering if I was sent a reject by accident, but from the other reviews, it appears the problems I had are not uncommon.
