Does excellent job for my spice grinding needs. Basically turns it into powder if desired. However, should only be used in short burst due to rapid heat buildup.
Nice little herb chopper. I was dismayed at first due to the small size but once a tried it i realized the half cup size worked well. I grinded a pint of lemon mint in just a few minutes. Was a bit difficult to place the lid on. I found that you need to press down on the lid and push the button to get it to grind.
Considering this is the cheapest grinder I could find, I wasn't surprised by the quality (or lack thereof). The lid is very finicky and has to be positioned just right for the blades to run. And the symbol on the power button rubbed off almost immediately. Otherwise, its not a bad product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Real nice addition to any kitchen, if your into coffee or just grinding spices this one is for you. The unit is well made and balanced. It is very quiet while running. The only thing I can say would be the cover is made in two pieces and the one I received was note well attached.
Probably just this one particular coffee grinder...where it had a [broken] piece barely sticking out, where it cut my finger twice, and drew blood. Once while removing the top, and once when replacing same. Returned for a replacement. Same brand, if none other available.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this, but it's just not up to snuff for its intended purpose. I used it first for a spice packet that was included in a corned beef brisket. They had whole seeds and I wanted to grind them down to be able to spread it all out over the entire 4lb cut. The machine wasn't terribly fast at grinding up the seeds entirely into a powder so I had to hold the button in for a while. But in doing so, a fine powder was escaping out of the side of the machine. See the attached photos of it on the side of the machine and on my counter. I lightly banged the machine on the counter before opening to knock down as much of the spices from the lid before opening, but even as I did, spices spilled out of the top all over my hand and it was all stuck in the rim of the lid, which you can also see in the 3rd pic. I'm not impressed with this, considering it has only 1 job to do.
I bought this grinder about a month ago. Went to use it for the 1st time August 7th. Plugged it, and nothing. Very dissapointing. I will not not buy this brand again
burned up the third time I used it piece of junk
I used this product three times and it quit! Although it has a warranty, I can't find my receipt to return this item. Don't waste your money!
