This one has to be the best I've ever used .My grandson says the food is so good we should open a restaurant! I would definitely recommend this brand if your looking for a slow cooker. I have a small slow cooker and was happy to get this larger slow cooker. I love the large pot and it held a lot of food and still had room for more. The meat came out very tender as well as the vegetables. There are multiple settings; high, low and warm which will keep the food warm until ready to serve it. It has a removable pot for easy clean up which is also dishwasher safe. We love crockpot meals and make them often because they are so easy and the large pot will make it easier to prepare larger meals. I can see this being used often in our home.
This is just what I wanted. It's well worth the cost. Believe me, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
my son loved it he comes from work puts the food that he wants to eat in there to cook for the right time set it up he doesn't bother their girlfriend for anything and she wakes up to a gorgeous meal in the middle of the night so they're happier now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the size of this Elite Gourmet Slow Cooker. The crockpot I have is too small for cooking a roast. This 8.5 qt size is great for cooking roasts, my homemade chilli and soups! It has three heat settings, with a warm setting that's great for keeping cooked foods warm. I really like that the crock pot is removable and dishwasher safe. So much easier to clean! The tempered glass lid is nice for checking on your foods without having to lift the lid. This is going to get a lot of use in our home!

We wanted some beef and broccoli for dinner so I decided to try out the new slow cooker. It held a lot of food and still had room for more. The meat came out very tender as well as the vegetables. I like that one of the setting options is warm which kept the food warm until ready to serve it. There is also a high and low setting. There is no steam vent in the lid but so far that has not been an issue. Also the outside of the cooker gets very hot so I moved it from my counter and put it on my stove. It has a removable pot for easy clean up which is also dishwasher safe. We love crockpot meals because they are so easy and the large pot will make it easier to prepare larger meals. I can see this being used often in our home. I would have given this a 5 rating but gave it a 4 rating instead because of how hot the outside gets.
