This unit replaced one I had for the last 7 years. I use my hotplate every day. I was pleasantly surprised by the EDB-302BF unit. It heats up much quicker than the old one. Temperature control is as expected for a cast burner, slow to change. I tested the wattage and the big burner draws 964w the small burner 487w on max. Once you reach temp. the burner cycles on and off at the max draw rate. The on time is what changes. Hope that helps. I like the unit, it does what I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised at how quickly it heated up the pan and 2 is quite enough heat to cook anything. They are meant for smaller fry pans or sauce pans. They are light weight and is made of good quality. We were thinking it was so sleek and light weight it would be great to carry it along on camping trips. Glad we got this. It is not complicated to use at all.
Cooks well easy to clean nice hot plate
Im Very satisfied its a great product! My stove top went out and its a great replacement until I can get a new one. It heats up pretty well much better than ones I have tried in the past. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends.
Purchased this hot plate about 1 1/2 years ago, it is my sole method for cooking, single male here living in rooming houses. Sometimes I cook on it one to two times maybe three times a day, never had no problem. I really appreciate the indicator lights. Fixing to purchase a new one for safety reasons only. Hope you get as much enjoyment out of yours and I have mine.
Disliked: very small, burner tops are smaller than on my previous electric one. Liked: seems to heat more quickly than my previous electric one. If you are used to gas then this will probably appear to heat slowly. However, if you are used to electric then it will probably appear to heat relatively quickly.
This is ok although very small. It is design for small apartment with less space. It is slim & compact. Don't know how it will hold in the long run. Will update.
It does the job, it gets pretty hot fast, the whole unit gets hot so if you have little ones be careful my unit sits unevenly on my counter so I had to put something under the back left leg to make it even, I hate returning things so I will use it until I get a real stove.
complete garbage! It only has 1400 W watts! Go for the main stays double burner which is 1800 W or even a single burner which is 1100 Watts. this one takes forever to heat anything up
