Got it as a Christmas gift, they love it
This skillet is larger than I thought it would be. The cooking surface is made of/covered with a granitestone material which means no sticking. The food glides easily around the pan. I love the trigger-type electrical probe...it will not come unplugged until you squeeze that trigger to remove it. Can be used for smaller meals, fried sandwiches, or larger portions like chicken wings (I was able to get 20 wing sections cooking at one time comfortably. Great skillet that will be very much used at Thanksgiving.
I ordered this and would recommend this product to anyone needing an electric skillet. I love mine and use it very often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Elite Platinum 8QT Jumbo Electric Skillet four times now and I absolutely love it. I have used it to make fried chicken, bacon, sausage, and eggs over easy. Everything came out great. This electric skillet is the perfect size. It holds a whole cut up chicken with no problem. I love how quickly it heats up and how well it maintains temperature. With the non stick surface, cleanup is a breeze.
I really love this elite skillet and you can fry 3 to 4 whole tilapia and cooked evenly thats why i love to use this item. I already bought for my daughter and this time i bought for myself. We used to cook outside in the backyard and its easy to clean.

i absolutely love the interior of this skillet! The size is amazing and perfect for feeding 14 people. I run a daycare, so many are littles but i am also a mother of teens as well. I have used this to deep fry chicken quarters and had absolutely no problems and cleanup was a breeze! I love this as a part of my kitchen arsenal! you should definitely make this a part of your kitchen too!
I find the skillet very handy is able cook thing that I don't have 2 skillet for it size is very useful when your cooking love it, one problem is the plugin could it could have been better design so when you plug in the controller it should be more secure and not so shaky.
