[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with this Elite Gourmet Stainless Steel 12 Cup Percolator! It makes good old fashioned coffee taste exactly the way it should. I didn't even realize this until my first cup then immediately put my french press away. It's beautiful and I'm proud to have it sitting on my counter. You can make 12 large cups or just a few and it keeps my coffee piping hot and fresh. I like to fill it in the evenings so all I have to do is hit the button in the morning. The clear knob on top lets you see it percolating just like my Grandma's used to and reminds me of her along with the amazing smell that fills my kitchen that otherwise you don't have with a french press or traditional coffee maker. I love it!
Loved the hot coffee. I have tried other popular coffee makers such as Keurig and drip and was so disappointed that the coffee quickly cooled down and the rich coffee taste was just not impressive. The Maxi matic is fantastic. I love it.
I just honestly dont have a dislike in this coffee pot, its really fast, and the coffee is great and hot. I wouldnt hesitate to buy another just like it should the need arise
I love my new Maxi-Matic Elite Platinum 12-Cup Percolator. Works well. Looks great. I can even watch my coffee maker percolate, which is what I was looking for - instead of the standard, these days, coffee maker. Looks just like the picture here.
The best way to make coffee with better taste and the coffee came super hot and keeping hot coffee for long time.
It makes coffee more quickly than my drip coffee maker did. There is something loose inside the black base on the pot. It rattles when I move the pot around.
It brews well and is quiet. The design is stylish. I don't like that it cuts off when I take off the base. If I don't come back right away for more coffee it's no longer hot merely warm. I will most likely be getting a different one.
This pot cuts off automatically in about 10 minutes. It sits on its own base
during the 1st use, the coffee started leaking out around the little clear top so coffee dribbled everywhere. It probably has a bad seal. We only had 10 cups of water. Otherwise it tasted good and it is nice that you don't have to deal with a cord when you are poring the coffee.
Black smoke came out of the bottom, smelled like melting plastic. In the short time that it worked, we did not like that it stopped warming the coffee after we poured the first cup. Even after hitting the button to restart it, the blue warming light did not stay on very long.
