So far we haven't used this dresser but it's very sturdy and looks very nice put together. My husband said it wasn't as difficult to put together as previous posters have said.
Dresser took about 10 weeks to arrive with site to store shipping. It was shipped in perfect condition, nothing was damaged. It does take a few hours to put together but a drill makes the job go a lot quicker rather than using a screwdriver. The dresser is very sturdy and looks magnificent in the baby's room! We just love the quality and the looks of this dresser!
I read reviews before I decided to get the product that said it was poor quality but that is very much untrue.. it took awhile to assemble but after it was put together it looked beautiful. The drawers slid fine and I have no complaints!!!
My husband and I wanted to do black furniture for our daughters room and were having a hard time finding something in our price rang that was made with real wood and good quality. This changing table was the answer! We love it and couldn't be happier.
I really like the new changing table. It goes perfectly will my Ellis crib. I had heard that the assembly was difficult, but I thought it was pretty easy. I put it together myself - I am 7 months pregnant and it was not hard at all. My husband and I think it looks great. It is really sturdy and the drawers work well. Good design, good price - I would definitely recommend.
I really like this product, and I like the site to store shipping that Wal-Mart offers. It came in very quick, and didn't cost a dime. The instructions were very clear, and there was no confusion in assembly, as there very frequently is in things like this. The only thing I noticed is that one drawer has a nick on it, but we purposely got black because it's easy to touch up! I am sure I could call the company and get another drawer front sent, but I don't know that I care that much. For the money it's pretty good quality. Let's remember that it's a very inexpensive price point, so what all do we expect? I think it's pretty sturdy and impressive for the price. If you're looking for something to be an heirloom piece, than go to the high-end furniture stores and spend way more money. I would recommend it to anyone, and if I were looking for something in that price point again, I would buy it again.
Make sure to read the directions more than once - they are alittle unclear. The furniture is really nice and sturdy. We had an issue with the rollers on the top drawer, they were bent - but once we straightened them everything seemed to be fine. Also, make sure you check the furniture carefully, one of our drawer fronts was scratched alot - with some touch-up paint it should be good as new.
This is a nice dresser. It took my fiance 2 hours to put it together which was not bad considering the size. We also have the Ellis Convertable Crib in the same color they look great together. We use this everyday and i have had no problems what so ever with it.
We waited 6 months for this product to be instock. When it arrived we took it home and put it together immediately. None of the pieces were labeled or numbered. The directions were very hard to understand. Many of the pieces were damaged and the paint was chipping off. There were large scratches in the wood. Thank goodness all the damage was to the back or the inside. Once we got it together I looked ok, but the drawers rub together. We were very unhappy with the quality of this product. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Within one month of having this dresser. The paint is flaking off in chunks. Also the drawers to do not slide in and out. The middle one is completely stuck. Very unhappy buyer.
