I have young kids and they use this for their homework does not take up alot of space and can travel with you with easy.
I ordered this yesterday and it showed up on my doorstep today! WTG Walmart! It takes 4 AA batteries and works like a champ. It's strong so you have to hold the pencil pretty tight. It seems to handle quite a bit since I have already sharpened a couple packs of pencils and color pencils. Especially for the price, I Would HIGHLY recommend this!
cheap, small and fits in kitchen draw. not super fast but works and needed one.
Perfect for my 5 year old grandson to use! Love it!
Sharpens good. Smaller than thought by looking at picture- but my daughter likes it. Spins fast enough where you have to hold on to it to keep the pencil from turning the sharpener. Not sure how long the batteries will last- but with periodic use they should last quite a while.
Though inexpensive, one would expect better performance. Bought two two years ago. Very light use. Complaint 1) One completely inop; lasted two years but may less than one hour of "machine time". Complaint 2) Neither machine sharpened pencils in concentric manner; evenly around lead core. One side was always more shaveen than the othere and often by the time a sharp point was reached, it could only be used for a few lines before some part of the wooden pencil touched the paper... very little of the lead could be exposed to that point. The remedy for this was to sharpen the pencil off-center and hope the outcome would bbe more favorible. This, of course, eats away what would otherwise be a perfectly good section of the pencil that could have been used. But... if you're not picky... and just want to make black marks... this will do. As for me, I'm gonna' try another brand for over twenty bucks.
Did not work,so I returned it !
This arrived in a timely manner, but was missing metal contacts on the cover of the battery pack. Needless to say, it didn't work. Proceeded to return it to Walmart and purchased an Exacto ELECTRIC sharpener that I had to return because it didn't work AT ALL. Maybe exacto should stick to knives!
This pencil sharpener did not work on any of our pencils. We tried everything. We would definitely not recommend this sharpener.
