I have sweet memories of this product and brand as a child. Every single memory was worth keeping. The smell of the glue reminds me of grammar school.📝✒️🖍️🖌️ I wish I could travel back in time. LOL. Elmer's has been around for a long time. The glue still works well!
This is the brand of choice for our slime projects. The alternative brand doesn't quite get it to the desirable consistency. We also have used this for craft projects and it's easily used by my kids without a lot of forceful squeezing. It hold the paper together well also.
The substition of the item was great. They gave me a more expensive item but only charged me for me original order amount. Thank you!

This is the best glue for small household projects and I can give it to my grandkids without worrying. I do prefer the clear version but they work the same.
This glue is defiantly our go to for arts and crafts and even for quick glue to grab for small projects. This is super easy to clean up with just soap and water or even if you just let it dry it peel very effectively to get off of things.
I don't know if the glue is old or there is a clog in the screw cap because I have to squeeze really hard for it to come out. the glue itself doesn't seem to be too thick
Elmer’s School Glue goes on liquid white and dries clear. So many uses and possibilities for school art projects, glueing puzzles, etc... Mostly meant for paper. Washes off hands, arms, faces, hair, furniture and clothing. If glue has dried, it peels off most non-paper surfaces. For fabrics use hot water to rewet glue then clean per fabric care instruction. Non-toxic. While not recommended, if your kid drinks it, its not the end of the world.
I would like to message back and say that I did purchase the glue item recently, but no make up or plates from Walmart.
