I was so excited to find this Elmo potty seat. My 2 year old son loves Elmo and I knew this would make using the potty so much more fun for him. The previous seat we had was pretty flimsy and he broke one of the handles right away. This Elmo seat is much thicker and sturdier. The cushion is durable but soft. Colors are bright and the price is great. Would recommend this to any little Elmo lover to make bathroom time much more fun!
My daughter LOVES this potty seat. As soon as I began taking it out of the packaging she said "peepee" and practically dragged me to the bathroom and pottied on it through a bunch of giggles. This was great after having a weak break from pottying on the potty. It sits pretty sturdy on our toilet. You'll have to find a spot or put a coat hook on the wall (what we did) to hang the potty. If your kid likes Elmo, this is an adorable seat. It does have a curve for between the legs (I'm not sure how it is for potty training boys). My daughter can sit back enough that it doesn't phase her and I think it would probably be okay for boys too.
The Elmo training seat is perfect for it's purpose. It is better then a stand alone potty seat. Elmo is a familiar face and aids in making the transition from diaper to potty. It is perfectly designed to fit the child's little behind and is comfortable to sit on. The unit hugs the toilet seat and the foam pads on the bottom helps to stabilize the seat very well. I feel like I received a very good value for the amount of monies spent and I would highly recommend this purchase to anyone whose child is ready to transition from diaper to potty.
My 2 year old who is a huge Elmo fan loves this potty & it comes with Elmo reward stickers. It works well and although it sets on top of the seat rather than snapping on like our other one, it does stay in place, and he is little enough that we are always in to supervise anyway. The only issue we had (not really an issue) is that there is not a "cup" that directs the urine stream downward. There is a raised portion that sets between the legs, but I have to be sure he is paying attention and pointing the stream downward, or it goes all over the place! I think ultimately this will be good practice for when he begins standing up, however, and this would not likely be an issue with a little girl. Overall, we are happy with the product, the Site-to-Store shipping was FAST and the Wal-Mart price was lower than I found elsewhere online.
its very cute for the Elmo fan ! not a comfy cushy seat, the seat is kinda hard, and I dont imagine its very comfortable for long concentrating and reading on the potty (which my daughter likes) lol. but overall, its a good simple potty seat, seems durable, and its really cute and got her excited !
Comfortable for my son. Splash guard relatively effective, depending on your toddler. Easy to place on top of adult seat, but that ease also allows for slipping and sliding around. This makes it difficult for the toddler to get on it by themselves. I have to place him on the seat so it doesn't slide off. I guess I was hoping it fastened somehow on top or snapped into the adult seat.
My son loves this product! He loves to just sit on the potty, even when he doesn't have to "go." I was a little nervous because some reviews said that it didnt "clip" onto the toilet seat. But it has tough little grippers on the bottom that help it from sliding. I think it is a good product for the money. My son is just excited to see Elmo.
My 2yr old son loves the seat but he loves anything Elmo. I think for the price paid for it it's a good product. Only thing I do not like about it is that it does not snap into the toilet so it moves around a bit and elmo's head seems to pop off from time time.
I did not like it. The guard was not high enough for a little boy. A little girl would not have any problem when using it. I think if they would make it high like the other potty seats, it would have been fine.
I really wanted to like this product but it is now sitting in a closet and will probably never be used. There is no way to attach it to a toilet seat. It just sits there and any movement makes it slide around. If I have to hold it in place, that kind of defeats the purpose. My daughter wouldn't get on it at all after trying it once.
