Beautiful gaming monitor. Easy to set up, the picture is excellent, bright vibrant colors! Beautiful high quality stand.Built in hdmi, usb and dp ports.Everything looks fantastic on the screen! Nice large 28” size.I was really impressed with this gaming monitor.And a high quality hdmi cable was included with the monitor. If you want a great gaming experience this 4k monitor is where it's at! I have been needing a bigger monitor here at home and had the opportunity to try this one out. I do not game and do not have a gaming rig, I got this for the size and resolution. The monitor came well packaged and undamaged. The contents include a stand, power brick and cable. The stand surprised me it is a metal stand, cast not a solid machined piece, but was easy to install with the supplied screws. The overall weight is surprising light for it's size. I did not get any of the computers that I have to display with Display port, I used my Windows desktop, a Linux based laptop and tower, now these are older PC's so that could be the issue. My 2015 laptop worked with the HDMI output and the supplied cable. In the included pictures, are my laptop running 10 and the other laptop running Zorin, with the menu pulled up. This monitor has the 5 buttons on the back of the monitor, and has the mounting holes so you can wall mount the monitor. I use it for my daily email, client paperwork and general daily use. I have been pleased with the picture quality from this product, but most important I don't have to wear my glasses to see the numbers on the display.
Using for a second monitor connected to laptop to work from home. Works well and quality is good.
This monitor is excellent and great picture quality. My son plays roblox on the computer and is loving his new monitor and playing with his friend. He really likes how big it is. Besides games, he uses his computer for homework and such. Overall, a great monitor!
Let me start by saying that I do not have extensive experience with gaming monitors or “computer” gaming, but I do have experience with and own high end televisions and in the past have spent a lot of time gaming online with an actual gaming system (XBOX). While I do not have a current gaming system that has 4K capability, I do have a 4k Blu-Ray player that I connected via HDMI cable to this monitor and also connected my XBOX up to this monitor with a 1080p signal for testing purposes. For comparison, I have been using these devices with a $3000 television that is one of the highest rated for picture quality. For those that know what really makes a great gaming experience, the main visual factors are the picture quality and the refresh rate (quality of processor) of the monitor/television. While technology has come a long way, game graphics have also progressed to an unbelievable level that puts a high demand on the viewing equipment. I tested the refresh capability/blur for this monitor with my XBOX and picture quality with both the XBOX and 4K Blu-Ray. When you start looking at the cost of gaming monitors, you realize that this one is really toward the lower end of price, and usually performance coincides with the price (the old “you get what you pay for”). With this being a LED monitor (pretty common) it does not really have to be viewed in a dark room because it puts out a higher than average amount of light. However, also with LEDs you usually get some bleed over from the light areas of the picture to the darker areas. This monitor does not have a big issue with this, but does not have the close to perfect black levels as some other types of monitors. However, the HDR picture it produces is very good (especially with the 4K Blu-Ray) for the money. It also has a nice amount of adjustments that you can make to the picture. As far as refresh rate, I did not notice a lot of blur when playing several different RPG/Racing games and it seemed that the monitor performed pretty well. But, keep in mind, I did not test using a more complex computer gaming system because I am not into that. Some nice features are several different types of inputs (2 HDMI and a DP input along with USB) and the slim stand that is included. The stand seems kind of fragile, so time would tell if it would hold up if the monitor had to be moved around or if it was knocked over. It also comes with a high speed HDMI cable. I think this is a great monitor for the price, but if I was a computer gamer, I would probably invest in one a little more expensive (based on what I know about the demands of those systems). But it should be great for entry level or someone on a tight budget.
Came boxed and packed well, very simple to put together, just three screws to attach the metal base. Connections were easy with the supplied HDMI and power cables, just connect and play. I hooked it to my laptop first to see the difference and WOW, then to my desktop to play a game, a very sharp and clear picture.
Great specs for the price. color space is weird not too bad. speakers do not work have used every connector and port. purchased 2 of these monitors.
The person stating the the monitor's built in speakers do not produce any sounds is correct. I am experiencing the same thing and have contacted support but have no hope that they will be helpful so chances are that it will be returned. What a disappointment.
I've tried two different ones of these and the sound didn't work on either one.
Have not been able to get the speakers to work and I've used a dp cable and the provided hdmi cable. Found a support site for Ematic but you have to pay to get assistance. Credit card link in the chat. $1 to get your answer $43 per month after that. This is not a value if you are having a hardware issue but have to pay more to get support for your new product. I will be shopping for a better monitor over the next few days so i can return this one to Walmart.
