When EmergenC discontinued the Five products ( referring to calories per serving, i.e., sugar content) I discovered these that are barely sweet, 10 calories, < 1 gram sugar in contrast to 30-35 calories, 5-6 grams sugar in other flavor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is exactly as I wished!
I am staying away from sugar and this is the best (and only) flavor without sugar I can find. No artificial sweeteners either - pleasant tasting.
this product is ok, but was much better years ago. now it is 10 calories per packet, while it used to be 5 calories per packet. it used to contain way more vitamins, but now only contains a few. taste ok.
Decent price for a 30-pack of Emergen-C. Probably a buck or so cheaper than most other places you could buy it. This is now the only low-sugar version of Emergen-C. It tastes pretty awful, but it doesn't really make any sense to be sucking down a lot of sugar with your vitamin C. Alacer (the manufacturer) had a Strawberry-Kiwi low-sugar version that tasted wonderful, but for some reason they discontinued it. Big sigh. All good things ...
I purchased this product to help aid in joint recovery after daily walks and lite workouts. I've only tried it 3 or 4 times. I can't say I noticed a difference but the taste was so unpleasant I don't think I'll be able to use it enough to see/feel a difference. This flavor is just not for me but I would try it in a different flavor.
This is really not good citrusy tasting. Kind of flat tasting. Wish I had bought it.
