I've owned this epilator for about 8 months and it works even better than anticipated. I'm going to purchase another one for my daughter. I especially like that it can be used cordless but it also works plugged in, just in case you forgot to charge it. I can't find anything wrong with it.
I was replacing one that I dropped and broke, one I paid a lot more for. I like this one better, much quieter and easier to use because it's rechargeable and I'm not "tied" to the wall next to the outlet. I also like the safety button so it won't turn on in my purse, and I like the see-through cover.
This was the first time I have ever used an epilator. Yes, it was a little painfull the first few times but it gets easier. Unfortunately it may miss a couple of hairs, but its definately worth it. I'm the type of person who had to shave every other day but now I can take almost two weeks off. Woo Hoo!
I was used to a single head and thought this one with double head would be great found I had it grab my skin more times than I want to mention. It will take some getting used to and just have to be careful when using it. They last a long time but am really serious of buying a single head just to use and have this as a back up. My last one lasted me over 10 years and I don't think I will wait for 10 years for this one to go bad to get a single head one.
This product barely works...you need to try another product and not waste your money on this one. I had to purchase another brand and that one works perfect...
This emjoi optimax is not as good as the original emjoi optima I owned for 3 years. It only removes the hairs after 4 or 5 strokes. After using the optima I thought this one would perform as well but it does not. It makes the process of removing your unwanted hair long and laborious. I would not recommend purchasing it, especially not for the price, it is not worth the money.
