This is the best razor I have had in a long time. Your skin is smooth after shaving.
My boyfriend loves this razor it seems to take him less time to shave, and I like to feel his smoother head!

Received a sample package in the mail. For a woman who has psoriasis on her legs, is a runner and lives in Florida by the beach, I had a difficult time finding a razor that didn't leave my legs blood soaked by the end of shaving. The Hydro Power select (regular razor that feels like an electric razor) saved my legs! I can now shave my legs, which are covered in psoriasis, w/o any cuts, scrapes or bleeding. May not seem important to most, but to me, it changed my life!!!
I am bald and I shave my head and face every single day in the shower. I love the Hydro 5 Power Select razor. I have the stylish all black model but it recently broke after many drops. I am having a hard time finding a replacement. Please do not slow down the production of this amazing product. The added vibration of this product helps it slice through hair like a hot knife through butter. The flip back lubricant head allows me to get to the hair under my nose, lips, chin, and any hard to reach spots. Please don't ever stop making this product.
Great razor - just a shame you can't find them in the stores any longer.
Upper Lip: Hydro 5 gets closer to the nose plus you won't accidentally cut your hand on the backside blade that the Fusion has. Sensitive Areas: No advantage. Cost: Hydro 5 blades are slightly cheaper Handle Itself: Fusion is smaller and more comfortable in the hand. Hydro 5 does not fit in a toothbrush holder, it does not come with a stand, and it won't fit on the non-powered version. Power: No advantage. Both brands cut cleaner with the power function on, and both use similar amounts of power. Hydro 5 has multiple speeds, but only the highest speed is necessary. This is comparable to Fusion. Durability: No advantage. Both products last about the same amount of time. Head: Mixed. I shave my head, and there are two differences I have noticed. Hydro does better around the ear. Gillette cleans a little better if skin gets clogged in the blades. Both require a cue-tip to completely clean out. Overall: I prefer the Hydro 5 based on its' ability to get close to the nose and around the ear. The cost savings is nice but not a major concern. I have a product idea if Schick is interested. Low cost add-on to handle packaging that will increase brand loyalty.
I HAVE TRIED MANY RAZORS OVER THE YRS! THIS IS THE BEST ONE YET! IT GIVES THE CLOSEST SHAVE AND I DONT CUT MY FACE UP WITH IT. AND IT WORKS GREAT ON THOSE OTHER AREAS, AS WELL! I WILL NEVER USE ANYTTHING ELSE ON MY FACE,EVER!
Been using the Hydro power for years. The is the newer version of the same razor. It is the closest to an electric razor which I can not use.
This razor is honestly the best one I have used yet. The lubricating strips and 5 blades make for the closest, smoothest shave I have experienced. I can even shave stubble with NO irritation. My one and only complaint is the groomer part. It could be improved as far as effectiveness as well as the fact that you have to hold down the on button the whole time in order for it to work. Why no switch? Besides that, I am def going to switch to this razor from now on.
