[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started giving my daughter iron a month ago because of anemia and since then she hasn't had any problems
Best iron supplement ever
Easy to order!!
Our son has had nose bleeds for quite some time. Lately it was every day, sometimes numerous times a day. Our pediatrician checked his iron levels and saw that he was anemic. She prescribed this supplement and he went from daily nose bleeds, to not having one in almost a week! All of our family is extremely grateful!
I tasted this first before giving to my 3 year old. It was disgusting! I don't know how they haven't figured out a way to mask the strong flavor it has, but I can't complain too much because my 3 year old takes it without a problem either straight from the syringe or in juice. I did give it to him once in milk and he didn't like it but will take it in juice and itslef.
So far we haven't had any issues with it. It's doing its part of absorption. It's best to blend with orange juice so that it is tolerable. No yogurt or any dairy product! It didn't go well for my son.
Very easy way to get your toddler to take an iron supplement. My only dislike is it is a very strong taste, kind of hard to mask the flavor. I only mixed 2.5ml(suppose to be 5ml) with 8oz of juice and can STILL taste it. Either way toddler drank it so I can't complain.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product from my babies birth. I mix it in formula bottle which makes it easy to feed.
I am a teenager and I used this product because it is not easy for me to take iron pills, hence my doctor recommended for me to take 2 drops per day. This product tastes absolutely horrible and I can't imagine how a baby could swallow this. I've tried mixing this into my water, juice, and multiple foods but nothing makes the taste go away because it is so strong and distinguishable. If your baby/child is crying while you are giving this to them, it's probably because of the disgusting taste.
