I explicitly instructed the driver to leave at door. He left package over 80 yards away BUT he put note on door! Boo hiss
These logs burn in layers while other logs burn like a kind of silt
Love, love, love these firelogs! I use them in my backyard firepit to get my wood fire going, and they work perfectly! Being earth friendly is an added bonus!
Great product for the price. Its easy to use and not messy. No smell. Im allergic to a lot of different woods but not this one. I use one at a time in my little apartment fireplace but you can use 2 at a time. Each log burns 3 hours and goes down to nothing when done. If i can light this easy to use log anyone can.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Enviro-Log Firelogs, Earth Friendly. These long lasting, easy to light earth friendly logs are great when we add them to our outside fire pit, making the firewood last 3 to 5 hours. Saves us on firewood. And being their environmentally friendly, that is a big plus. They don't take away from natural fire look, and prolongs the fire by a few more hours.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enviro-log firelogs are the easiest way to a perfect fire in my woodstove. No fuss, just light and enjoy. With a single match these logs light effortlessly and in less then ten minutes are fully engulfed in a perfect flame for over 2 hours. They burn incredibly clean with virtually no visible smoke and no buildup of any soot on the glass door, unlike real logs. They do emit the same amount of heat as an equivalent sized single log but, lasts about 4 times longer. When it gets colder, I plan to use my enviro-log firelogs to start my fires and add regular wood as if I would be for a traditional fire to heat my downstairs. These firelogs have really made starting and enjoying my fireplace, anytime for any reason, incredibly easy and effortless.
Burns clean and lasts. Remember to tear open the wrapper (unlike some other fire logs). I use one of these with every campfire to get it going. Works great and they smell good
Just okay. VERY smokey when fist lit and for about the first 30 minutes or so of burning. Also during the first 30 minutes or so, it doesn't burn evenly, only in a few spots here and there. It's almost like it has to burn the outer layer off to really catch. After the first 30 minutes or so it does burn well and probably lasts for two hours or so - maybe 2.5 hours. Just based on the smokey start, I would NOT recommend this for use inside in your fireplace. Work okay outside in a fire pit though. Go with PineMtn - much better
I have used several kinds of artificial logs and these are the worst. They put off almost no heat, they are so dark you almost can't see them, and there is very little flame. I definitely would not recommend them. The only good thing I can say about them is that they continue to burn.
DO NOT BUY! DANGEROUS! THANKS FOR ALMOST KILLING US! The log is really small. It's about half the size of a regular log. It smoldered while we were sleeping and filled our home with soot. My husband smelled it and woke up and got everyone out of the house. The fire alarm and carbon monoxide detector did not go off. They are both new. My husband took a shovel and put the log outside in the snow. It took over an hour to stop smoking. Inside the log was compressed painted shredded waxed cardboard.
