I live in a dry climate and this is so nice to have in the bedroom. It doesn't make the room moist but I can see the water is gone by the next evening so it's got to be in the air. Anyway, nice little humidifier . I can't hear it from where I placed it but I know it's quiet.
Quiet operation and easy to clean. Purchased replacement filters on Walmart.com. The replacement filters are p/n RP3001 made by Air Filter Factory. The four pack replacement filters were $18.77 plus tax and free shipping.
I had doubts purchasing this one. But well I got to give it a try. They said it's not misting. Yes seems like it's not. But at the box it says there, ‘invisible' mist. I left it on for 15-20 mins, the fan is working, and I have observed that the water's level is going down. This means that it's misting!
this unit has a fan. so it makes a noise compared to other humidifier. I can't see the cool mist coming out of unit but it pushes just as much water into the air as other humidifier. what I like the most is the secure handle on the water tank. I have had it running all day for about 3 weeks and I can already see a discoloration in the filter. they state to change filter every 1-3 months depending on use. if you buy a 4 pack on Amazon the filters will cost $5 per month at maximum use. unit is big 2 times the size of other humidifier.
I love this humidifier, but the cost of the replacement filter went up. It's extremely easy to use %26 clean. If you're in the market for a new humidifier though, it'd be easier %26 cheaper for you to get one without a filter. If the replacement filter were under $4 or $5, it wouldn't be so bad. With it being nearly $10, it's unreasonable. I would've given this humidifier a 5 star rating had it not been for the filter costing so much. This actually has been my favorite humidifier I've owned so far (until I went to buy another replacement filter %26 it had over doubled in price).
the invisible mist is fine but its not pushing out much humidity at all, had have had it running for over 24 hours on high and hasnt made much of a difference at all and theyre both still have about 30% of the tank left.
Pros: This looks like it will be easy to keep clean - everything that water touches is easy to clean. The water tank seems well designed - easy to fill and carry without it being an ordeal. Reasonably energy efficient - I measured 20 watts on low and 30 watts on high. Cons: This thing is fine for only the smallest of rooms - the claimed 250 square feet coverage area is a stretch. The tank has no problem lasting 24 hours on high - which isn't a good thing! Water in the tank isn't getting into the air where I actually need it. The filter doesn't seem to be particularly effective at wicking up water; the top of the filter/wick always seems to stay dry even with a tank full of water. Finally, I've only had this for 6 days now and the filter is already starting to get deposits.
Ordered this after reading all the reviews. My 1m old son needed a humidifier at night bc he has severe congestion and it was to help break it up. We read the directions front and back to make sure we had an understanding of how to use this. We went step by step. When we went to turn it on, the most wouldn't come out. We reread the pamphlet. It said if mist did come out wait 30 minutes to ensure the filter was fully wet. We did. Still nothing.
It never arrived and I'm on a long hold with the support team. I asked if they could resend it and they said it would take 7-10 business days and it is in stock at a store less that a couple of miles from the delivery address
I purchsed the humidifier in April and ot worked well with no issues. It got me through a bout with Covid. I hadn't used it for a month or so and today I noticed there were cracks forming on the plastic tank. There was a sizeable crack on the bottom seam. I thought they were just superficial and filled up the tank. Water started coming out of the cracked seam and as I dumped the water out, a chunk of the tank where the cracked seam was broke off. I am dealing with allergies and allergic asthma and really needed it. I am low in om and disabled, so this lasting about six months really hurts my wallet. I doubt it's still under warranty or if I will buy it again.
