This calcium is easy on the stomach. It has a 50 day supply in each bottle. And most of the days supply calcium. I have a couple glasses soy milk every day also and with these calcium tablets I have reached my much needed daily requirement. Remember to exercise at least a few days a week. Because that helps building strong bones.
This is my go to calcium. Due to swallowing issues I have to have smaller pills and cannot do chewables. These are perfect for me and a great price. I have tried other ones online and they ended up and hard to swallow. I'm back to this product to stay!
Doctor advised me to take more calcium and D, with no preference. I chose this one and especially like the Petites version. My sister advised the calcium citrate over the calcium carbonate. Doctor advised the D3 in the gel cap form. My regular blood tests have been great for several years now.
The pills on the right are what I bought. If those are Petite Size I would hate to see what Regular Size look like. Now I need to cut each pill in half to swallow them.
These vitamins are considerably larger than Citrical's Petites. I bought the Equate because of the value and if you are looking for smaller calcium vitamins, do not buy these, they are almost as big as the regular size Citrical's. I will never buy these again and will be returning 3 of the 4 bottles I bought.
After stroke, swallowing pills has become quite difficult. Equate "petite" calcium are certainly NOT consistently smaller than the reg. calcium tablets. Received a few bottles that are smaller, easier to swallow. But MOST have been same sz as reg tablets.... very irritating. Left side: reg. calcium. Right side: "petite" tablets (actually longer than reg. sz)
I have ordered the petites for a long time and love the small tablet size but this new package that I received the pill is elongated and much larger and im not sure if i will order it again. Maybe it was a Fluke from the manufacuturer ??? Kind of bummed out
These used to be small and easy to swallow. I have been buying them for years and they were consistent. The tablets in this last order are huge! Just as large as regular calcium tablets. I am very disappointed. I tried to return them to Walmart store and was told they can't take them back because of covid19! Please refer to the attached photo which shows the small one on the left, which is what they are supposed to be and the large one on the right, which is what they are now.
I have been buying these petite calcium pills for 3 years. My latest bottle contained pills that were regular size. Today I contacted the Equate Hotline with the 800 number listed on the back of the bottle. I was told the pills in the bottle were not a mistake, this is the new petite size, and I could return the bottle to Wal-Mart for a refund if I would like. I will be returning these for sure, and it is extremely disappointing that Equate Petite Calcium is now regular size. I have attached a photo that shows the rounded square pill on the left (old petite) and the long pill on the right (new petite). You can also see that the front of the bottle does not contain any labeling to indicate a new size or shape. I will be trying out the Walgreen's Petite Calcium, as I see other reviewers say it is still a real "petite" pill.
I had ordered Equate Calcium Citrate D3. They shipped the item with an expiration date of 02/21. I received the delivery today -4/14/2021
