These Eqate (Walmart) brand toothbrushes are super good quality and very much compare to the Colgate brand but are much less costly. When comparing the two they are very similar although these Equate brushes are not manufactured by Colgate-Palmolive company but are made in the good old USA. They have an angled end-tuft for reaching the back teeth and cleaning between teeth. There is a circular row of brushes towards the inside handle of brush for reaching all of the tooth you are brushing. The brush I used is cosidered "medium" and bristles are stiff enough to make it feel like it has done a great job of cleaning and your mouth feels refreshingly clean when done. Also on the back side of brush head is a textured tongue and cheek cleaner that removes bacteria and again makes your whole mouth feel very clean. Would definitely recommend, especially at this great price!
I always keep a supply of new toothbrushes at my home for guests who forget to bring theirs or weren't expecting to spend the night. These toothbrushes are very well made and comparable to the much higher priced brand name products. (see pictures I've provided). They have different levels of bristles to get thoroughly around the teeth and have a textured tongue and cheek cleaner on the back of the brush head. There is also a nice rubberized handle grip so it doesn't slip out of your hand when it's wet. I personally prefer soft bristles but these medium bristles are not as stiff as I expected so I like that. I like the multipack to insure I have plenty on hand and the lower price is fantastic!
Received these just last week to try. Used it every day this week, and like it. It is angled up a little to reach back teeth. It even has a cheek cleaner on back of the brush Have a nice grip on the end of the handle to have good control of the brush. I did like this brush, and plan on purchasing when I run out of the 4 provided. I would recommend these to anyone.
Equate Clean+ Toothbrush, Medium Bristles, 4 Count really gets your teeth an tongue clean. I like that the bristles weren't to soft or to hard it just had the perfect amount of firmness. It was nice that the tooth brushes came in a 4 pack with multiple colors so all my family members could try one with one to spare. Its always good to have multiple tooth brushes, so we can change our tooth brushes out after a cold or just as a timely replacement. The handle wasn't slipper but instead was easy to grip, and the back of the toothbrush head is a really good tongue cleaner. To me this tooth brush is just as good as one of the higher priced brands.
I'm very impressed with the Equate clean+ toothbrushes. I've always chosen big name brand toothbrushes thinking store brand wouldn't work as well. But, these toothbrushes work just as well as any other toothbrush I've tried. They clean great and are very well made. I have found my new favorite toothbrush brand.
This review is for the Equate Clean+ 4 count toothbrush with medium bristles. There is usually not too much exciting to say about a toothbrush, but this Equate version is great. It has been well designed from tip to tip and works great. The handle has an attractive design of raised soft rubber compound that provides a nice and comfortable grip. The bristle section also seems to have been carefully designed to get the best brushing possible. It has 3 different color bristles, each of which feel like a different stiffness. The bristles also are of different heights that indicate some sort of scientific design intent. The brush head is longer than most and widens toward the grip. This allows you to make each brush stroke count and reach the hard spots. While this is called a medium toothbrush, but I would call it a soft medium touch. The back of the toothbrush head has a series of raised plastic that can be used to brush the tongue. The pack of 4 comes with 4 different color toothbrushes to allow a family to designate them by favorite color. When comparing price to the name brands, these are so much more affordable at less than $1 per toothbrush. Walmart also offers several more Equate named toothbrushes of different design and pricing, but I am very pleased and would recommend the Equate Clean+ line of toothbrushes.
I was currently using the brand that said to compare this Equate brand to. This toothbrush is just as good as the other more expensive brand. The med bristles were just right. I do not like the soft as I feel like they don't clean. This is firm without being too soft or too hard. It has the different length of bristles on the brush so it gets down and cleans all levels. I usually just brush my tounge but this has the scrubber on the back. It is just the hard plastic ridges on the back of the toothbrush just like the more expensive brand. The handle has the grooves that make it easy to hold on to.
I love Equate products as they are equal in quality then higher priced name brands. This is a medium bristle brush that is more gentle to gums. I appreciate that when my gums are sensitive or sore. I like to change my toothbrushes out once a month so this is perfect for the price.
I have had good success with purchasing Equate products from Walmart. Recently I got the Equate Clean+ Toothbrush, Medium Bristles, 4 Count. These toothbrushes are comparable to the Colgate brand without the higher price tag. The Equate brand items that I have purchased previously have been up to the standards of the more expensive name brand items. These Toothbrushes are no exception. The have the same feel in my hand as my old Colgate model Toothbrush, but again, for less of the cost. I have tried other cheaper brands of Toothbrushes that I have found to be inferior in quality. I have had bristle come out while brushing my teeth. That has to be the worst thing that can happen while you are brushing your teeth. I saw the Equate Clean+ Toothbrush, Medium Bristles, 4 Count package and thought this would be great for the entire family to switch over to the Equate brand. We certainly feel that there is no drop off from the Colgate brand, which my family has been a longtime advocate of only buying Colgate. Now we have made the switch and do not see any drop off in quality or performance. And no loose bristles giving you the choking effect, either.
I like the nice, textured grip. It has a multitude of different bristles doing different stuff and cheek cleaning ridges. At 7.5" long it's a big brush, good for big hands. Medium bristles are very soft. The head is sort of too big for my average size female mouth. When I took the brushes out of the package they had some kind of dust or powder on them so I washed them well before use.
