I recently had my teeth "professionally" whitened. It did help to lighten my teeth a bit but did not get them super white as they had stated when I went in. I bought this product and decided to try them out. I followed the instructions ( very simple ) and noticed a HUGE difference even just after the very first time I used the strips. Yes, they can slide off your teeth a bit and yes, the gel can taste a little funny. But overall, I say this product is fantastic! The price is great especially for those of us who dont want to sped $50.00 on other name brands. I would highly recommend these strips. If you can read the directions are so simple to follow. :) I am a coffee drinker and a heavy smoker so the use of this product has made a tremendous difference! A+++
I actually bought the 7 day kit. I found this to be more than enough for what I was looking for. I found these whitening strips to actually work better then all the leading whitening strips. I have tried almost every kind and I found that these strips worked the best. I could see a difference after the first use. I actually have only had to use a set once a week. This product has lasted me almost 2 months. I found that if you put the top strip on first and close your mouth tightly, your lower teeth will help secure the upper strip. Just make sure that your lower teeth are dry when applying the lower strip and you will be fine. I highly recommend this product.
I have been looking all over for these and am sad to read Whitesmile's review saying they have been discontinued. My friend is a dental hygienist and gives me the professional grade Crest whitestrips but the Equate ones work so much better! The strips were moldable, not floppy like Crest and my teeth always looked much whiter using the ones from Walmart. I hate when you find a product that you really like and it is discontinued. I am frustrated in general with Walmart "downsizing" all their product lines. The aisles are now fewer and miles wide. I keep discovering other products that are no longer available and may have to start shopping elsewhere.
I've used these strips and felt they were well worht the price, granted they are a little stiff although the whitening performed was well worth. My only dispointment is that I can't find them any longer.
I love these whitestrips and the price has nothing to do with the quality. I even noticed my teeth being whiter after the 1st use! Ive had my teeth whitened with the blue light by my dentist, Ive used a few different types of the Crest Whitestrips, along with 5 minute whitening mouth trays, trays w syringes of whitening gel from the dentist, etc. So Im a pro at this teeth whitening journey and the products. If youre thinking about paying hundreds to a dentist in the future, dont do it! They even say (if theyre honest) that Crest Whitestrips give the same results and Ive found that to be true. Found out the hard way! So save your money and stick with whitestrips. They molded great to my teeth and stayed in place the very 1st time I tried them. I love that they are a fun wax and not a flimsy piece of plastic (like Crest). I dont understand how some people in the reviews I just read on here, had any problem getting these to stay on their teeth? My strips stuck on my teeth and never moved once. No sliding around or even partially started to come off. They didnt have a weird taste that bothered me either (uhh..have the people who said that ever used any type of whitening product before?) They arent supposed to taste like an ice cream sundae people! Its a peroxcide tooth whitener, hello! lol Some heplful hints: Sometimes whitestrips go much higher than your teeth and sit on your gumline, which can burn a lil, so since these fabulous lil strips are made of wax on the outside, take some scissors and trim the top edge down to the curves of your teeth IF your gums are sensitive. If you experience tooth sensitivity, buy a toothpaste for sensitive teeth and that will help A Lot! Has an ingredient in it that soothes them. If they dont stick to your teeth the very 1st time, bend them in a curve a few times before putting them on, the same way your teeth curve. Then pinch the strip together with your fingers, sqeezing both the front and back on your teeth at the same time in between your fingers. I even took my bottom teeth and pushed the back of my top strip on. Hope this helped! Happy Whitening!!!
My review name is "no problems" but now I have a BIG PROBLEM. As the reviews show, these are by far the best whitening strips on the market, at the best price. Why, Walmart, are you not offering these anymore? Please, oh please, bring them back.
So I know there were a lot of people sad that they discontinued these, but they now have a 7 Day whitening kit that is the same thing as these but extra strength!! I used the 14 day kit in the past and then this kit for a refresher, and the newer kit is still a great product (and works faster)! I think the people who couldn't get them to stay on were doing something wrong or must have a lot of spit in their mouths or something, because I always had them stay on just perfectly. As one reviewer said, they do seem to adhere to dryer teeth a bit better. The gel doesn't taste great, but considering that it is peroxide gel, this shouldn't come as a surprise. It's not a horrible taste either, and it's easy enough to deal with for just 30 minutes.
This is the best teeth whitening product I have used. I have tried them all. After the first use I had noticable results. By the third day, I have decided this is the product I will use from now on. Excellent WalMart product.
I haven't found ANY dental strips that whiten better than these (including all the name brands)! Yes, they are slippery and don't taste the best, but they are EXTREMELY effective in just 30 minutes. It helps if you dry your teeth off a bit with a clean towel before applying these strips. For $15, it's more than worth it. These are essential to keeping my teeth white.
I liked them. Only problem is it's making my teeth kinda hurt? Is that strange? It's like when I walk and air hits my teeth it a little pain and I've never had teeth problem. Last night was also my first time using them, mainly I got on the reviews to see if anyone elses teeth felt a little sore.
