Even though I don't have dentures, I wanted to try this brush for cleaning my mouth guard. I have a dentist-made mouth guard that has become very discolored over time. My regular toothbrush does not do a good job because it has very soft bristles. I really like this denture brush, especially the shorter bristles along the top. The bristles are much tougher and nicely clean the crevices of my mouth guard.
We have two members of the family that have dentures. Each of them uses a different soap and whitening. We were looking for new brushes anyway so we put this one out to the test. Surprisingly enough is withstood each of those different soaps and whiteners. Two different needs, but still good result. It is very solid and they appreciated the pick included to get in between. We do feel like it brushes very well without being harsh. It is a very good grip for them to hold better than average brushes. One even said it is great to brush down the tongue compared to regular brushes. Overall, very satisfied and will order more to have in the house for multiple individuals and multiple uses.
this review is for the EQUATE BRAND DENTURE BRUSH. the brush handle is made of a durable white hard plastic having a permanently sealed purple colored, shaped rubber grip on both sides of the brush. the rubber grips where your fingertips hold on to for applying pressure to your dentures, are the same width of the brush on either side and contain raised ridges to prevent the brush from slipping out of your hand while cleaning. the total length of this EQUATE DENTURE BRUSH from end to end is approximately 6+3/4" inches. on the main brush tip are 7 rows long and 3 bristle tips across at the beginning and end but in the middle there are 4 rows across covering an area of 1+1/4" inches in length, and 1/2 an inch wide. the placement of the bristles are taller at the top and taper down to a shorter length. then on the opposite side of the brush which angles upward and outward at the very top are 3 sets of bristles that are also 4 tapered bristle tips across. at the opposite end of the the brush, there is a small pointed rubber tip to use for getting into the fine edges between the teeth and gums. the bristles themselves are made of a strong durable, slightly flexible plastic. these sturdy bristles hold up to the daily residue build-up on your dentures and they dont squish flat when putting a force onto the brush. the tapered top of the brush is for getting in behind the curved areas of the front of the gums on dentures where are the hardest of the areas to reach. the tallest bristles measure 6/8" inch on the tip. this non-slip, ergonomically correct, strong bristled EQUATE DENTURE BRUSH worked perfectly on my odd shaped dentures.
Wow, this denture toothbrush is much better than the one I was previously using. I take care of my elderly father and clean his dentures for him daily. The tough bristles with two heads really get in there and clean them easily. They do have a comfortable grip which is nice. The last brush we had came from the dentist so I think maybe they need an upgrade.
I use this brush on my mothers dentures as I'm her caretaker. My mom loves to use copious amounts of Polydent to hold her dentures all day. I use lukewarm water to clean them at night with the Equate denture brush. I'm able to clean every inch of moms dentures without any problem. The brush is holding up and I have not noticed any wear or tear yet. There are more expensive denture brushes on the market but I would strong suggest giving Equate an opportunity to impress you!
I have always used regular toothbrushes, on my partial denture, and while a normal toothbrush can get the job done, it was always a chore. The design of this equate denture brush, is absolutely perfect The handle grip is better than any toothbrush grip I ever used , And the two separate brushes, 1 long for the flat surfaces, 1 narrow, circular direct brush to get into the opening of The parcel, Makes the job much quicker, much more thorough Couldn't be happier. Its a Time Saver, and does the job 10 times better.
I had the chance to try the equate denture brush. It worked great. It cleaned them perfectly and efficiently. I love the pick feature which is on the handle to get the stubborn particles of food out that are stuck in there. The two brushes are great to clean the inside and outside of the dentures. I also love equate products because there value is cheaper than name brand brushes. I would definitely recommend to everyone.
Equate Denture Toothbrush works really good. I love that it is longer than most denture toothbrush. I love the non-slio grip, easy to hold and doesn't slip through your hand when brushing the denture. The bristle of the denture toothbrush is good. Not too hard that it will scratch the denture and not too soft that it will not clean it. I recommend Equate Denture Toothbrush to use to brush your dentures.
Really disappointed. First Walmart stops carrying denture brushes, so I ordered them online. The brushes I received are not the ones pictured on the site. You may not see the difference but having the longer bristles on the small end makes for easier cleaning. I ordered a dozen, which came in three shipments. The so-called deep clean pick doesn't fit into the denture because of the thickness of the handle in that area. Wrong in many ways.
THIS ITEM WAS DELIVERED TOGETHER WITH OTHER HEAVY ITEMS AND LEFT ON TOP OF THE MAILBOXES STAND, NOT IN MY APARTMENT DOOR AS IT'S SUPPOSED TO.
