These are great floss picks. They slide easily between my teeth without shredding. They also have a pick at the end. Some don't, even though they say floss pick. Floss picks are much easier for me to use because of my arthritis. These Equate Floss Picks work perfectly!
So much better than traditional toothpicks! I get so much more out with less effort. The first string breaks it free whilst the second pulls it on out. Very handy to have that point end too. It's tough and doesn't break like some. That's got me thinking other uses lol oh the mint flavor is great out of the gate makes it feel more clean!
I keep these in my purse, in my car, in my drawer at work. I keep them in my bag when traveling. They are so convenient to have with you. There's nothing more annoying than having something stuck in your teeth and not being able to get it out. These are good quality, sturdy and sanitary. They easily glide in between the teeth and help with dental hygiene on the go.
These floss picks are extraordinary! The double strands of floss get the job done much quicker. The end of the pick is very helpful in cleaning difficult areas as well as scraping off any residue on your teeth. Just be careful when you first start using these - be mindful of the tension you use when flossing as well as using the pick end until you are use to it as your gums may bleed. You don't need a lot of tension with these. After using my first floss pick, my teeth had never felt cleaner. This is going to make my dentist so happy at my next checkup (or maybe not....I might end up with NO cavities).
This review is for the Equate brand Duo-Line Floss Picks. I floss twice a day because my teeth just don't feel clean with brushing only. I like to use regular floss at night and a floss pick during my morning toothbrushing routine. I've been using a name brand floss pick, and these Equate brand floss picks are just as nice as the name brand. The double line of floss gives it extra cleaning power. My teeth are tight and the floss part didn't shred or break. It has a built-in pick on the end, which is handy but not as important to me as the floss itself. The handle is long enough for me to reach my back teeth. These are great to keep in your purse or backpack so you can floss anywhere, anytime. I didn't really taste the mint flavor, but I prefer my floss unflavored anyway. Thumbs up on this product for helping to keep my teeth and gums healthy.
I love that I can floss all of my teeth, including the ones in the back, and not have to use 3 and 4 separate flossers because they broke. The double strong floss holds up and gets the job done! I love the resealable bag that I can throw in my purse and have readily available for work, after lunch, or any time I need to get something out of my teeth or freshen up. The minty taste is faint, but effective. I definitely recommend.
I've used the floss picks with a duo-line before and they weren't that good. Single line has always been better for some reason. But these are made well. I have teeth that need flossing after every meal. My teeth are so close together that they are almost overcrowding so I need something that is super tough to push and pull through. These can take a beating. After using one it looks the same as it did before I used it. My kids have always complained about the toothpicks I would buy saying that the floss rips easily and that they wouldn't work. When they tried these my son said, “hey these actually work!” They feel easy-to-grip in your hand and the pick part isn't super flimsy and slides perfectly in between the teeth. Glad to have found a floss pick to stock up on!!!doesn't bend
Look, I am convinced these floss picks are what 99% of people are looking for at an affordable price! That being said, I do like to use floss picks on my 8-year-old who has very tight teeth. The duo-line I do NOT recommend. If it's not both, one of the lines get snagged and I'm afraid it'll pull out her filling. Other than that, if this is not an issue for you, GET THESE! They work, the duo-lines are awesome for adults, (like extra reinforcement) and they leave you with a fresh aftertaste. Recommend!
I have used the equate Dental flossers and I have also used other brands as well to compare. The Equate dental floss works fairly well. And it gets teeth clean effectively. The string goes in between tight teeth and it does a good job cleaning them. One negative aspect however is that the end is very sharp and pointy. It would definitely be a hazard for families that have young children. And it did not actually have much of a mint taste although on the package it states that it is mint flavored. That was not really a big deal because I prefer Dental flossers that are not flavored. Overall good product and a nice value for what you're getting.
Can't get it between most of my teeth. Says "Mint Flavor" but has no discernible flavor. Seems more like fishing line then floss. I will stick with different brand.
