You're getting "generic" Pepcid AC for a fraction of the cost plus it's easier to find this in mint flavor. We don't like the berry, which is about all Pepcid seems to be carried in, because we like the cooling feeling of mint when having an upset stomach.
Equate Dual Action Acid Reducer Complete in Mint Flavor has been a life-saver for me!! I have a history of esophageal and peptic ulcers. My doctor had prescribed the generic proton-pump inhitor, called pantoprazole to be taken once a day. For some reason it didnt work we for me and I ended up needing to take my stand-by, Equate Complete Chewable Tablets which has the oral acid reducer medication (generic) called famotidine 10 mg per chewable tablet. I ended up switching my oral pantoprazole to the Rx strentgh Famotidine (it just works better for me and i can still take Equate Complete (twice in 24 hours if needed). Be sure to ask your doctor if you tto, are taking additional acid reducing Rx. The mint flavor is my favorite. Its soothing when my stomach is burning or GERD is flared-up in the middle of the night.it also comes in fruit flavor. I trust all of Equate OTC products and they are significantly less expensive than the brand name, (which is Pepcid Complete for this product). I have found Equate OTCproducts comparable to brand name in the products i use I highly recommend this product!! It works great and i ALWAYS have this on hand!! Great product and tastes great too!
I read many reviews before I bought these and I'm not sure if these people just have weak teeth or what but they're by no means “too hard to chew” yes they're harder but it take little effort to chew these, as far as them working I'm not entirely sure yet just started using them a couple days ago.
i really like these.. it helps each and every time.. i been taking them for 3 years now.. only when needed.. i recommend it big time
My doctor recommended I use these instead of Tums. They work great. I ve used both the fruity and the minty, both are good.
Works the same as Pepcid does for a fraction of the cost, it's a little harder to chew, but if you've got good teeth no worries in the least. Highly recommend for fast heartburn relief
I almost got what I ordered. But, the expiration dates were only a few months away. Also, one of them was the wrong flavor. But, I'm happy enough with them.
As effective as the brand name. But it has a very chalky taste. At half the price of the name brand, I don't mind overlooking the taste… as long as it works… and it does !
It's cheap but nothing like the Pepcid AC Complete. It's hard, chalky, gritty. Pepcid is smooth and is a much higher quality chewable tablet. I should have just tried one bottle instead of two. I'll power my way through it and go back to Pepcid. The money saved isn't worth it. Not very minty either.
The product details say: "Compare to the active ingredients of Pepcid Complete." Well, the ingredients ARE the same, but the quality most certainly is NOT. Hard as a rock, barely chewable, and the mint flavor is pretty much nonexistent. Do they work? Kinda, if you can get them chewed up. I'm going back to Pepcid Complete and tossing this crap in the trash!
