I really like this power toothbrush. It operates by AA batteries. The toothbrush head is perfect - it gets behind my teeth effortlessly. I like it better than my manual toothbrush. The power is just perfect not too strong not too weak. I have been reaching out to this one rather than my regular brush now. The price is unbeatable....you can't beat this price. It's worth every pennies you need to give it a try :)
I really like this product. My teeth have never felt so clean, well, except when the dentist cleans them. But the end result is the same, and the EQUATE POWER ORAL CARE KIT is a whole lot less money. I was so surprised to see the different gum cleaning heads. And three, count them, three brush heads. That is so awesome. It's not often that I get really excited about a product, but this one is right up there.
This is an Equate Dual Motion Power Toothbrush. This has all the bells and whistles you could need for oral care. Special cleaning tools that are ideal for braces,bridges and crowns. This dual motion brush head has a top oscillating section that surround each tooth to throughly clean and brush your teeth. The bottom bristles move back and forth to help break up plaque and clean between teeth This comes with interdental floss and oral care accessories. This even comes with 21 floss heads that fit on to the brush. I wanted to try this to see how it would compare with my rechargeable toothbrush. It works great. I think I got a clean that was much better than the old manual brushes. I would recommend this to anyone for great oral care.
I was disappointed that the image showed a red topthbrush but i received a lavender one instead. It came with 2 extra brushes as wrll as tye one on the handle for a total of 3 brush tops. It has 21 floss tips and 3 other tips for the gums. A google searched showed how to replace the floss tip. The tip handle has a thick section near the bottom that has an image of a double directional arrow. You pull that section down and it releases the tip. Replace the tip and push that section up to lock it in place. Hopefully this helps some who had trouble with replacing the tip. Overall, it is a pretty good toothbrush at a great budget price.
This seems to be a very well made product. Hoping it will last for some time. My grand kids ages 6 & 8 are able to & enjoy using the brushes AND flossers. Heads change out easily. Flossers are an added plus. Would be nice if this product was provided with a stand or case. Otherwise, very satisfied.
Our family dentist had recommended that both my spouse and I switch to an electric toothbrush, so we both wanted to try out the Equate Power Oral Care Kit. Fortunately, this came with multiples of most attachments, so both of us could test this (normally, of course, you'd buy one of these for each user, and the spare attachments would be replacements when the originals wear out). This is a battery-operated device, and the first set of batteries are included. (When you need to replace them, use high-quality alkaline batteries from your local Walmart store, and make sure the device is completely dry when you swap in the new batteries.) The rubber thumb indentation in the handle is the on-off switch; just hold it down to turn this device on, and release pressure on it to turn the device off. The various attachments snap into and out of the handle; they are seated firmly, but can be removed without a lot of forcing (so they shouldn't break while taking them out). Each brush head is on its own shaft, and then there's a separate accessories shaft with a sliding collar (slide up to release the used accessory; slide down to lock the new accessory in place). The bristles at the end of the toothbrush attachment are of about the same total length as those of a manual toothbrush; however, only the circular section at the top of the toothbrush spins while this device is in operation. My spouse had never before used an electric toothbrush, and was impressed with how quickly and thoroughly his teeth were brushed with this device. I last used an electric toothbrush several years ago, and also like how quickly I was able to brush my teeth, as well as how clean the teeth felt after using an electric toothbrush instead of a manual toothbrush. There are a total of 3 toothbrush attachments included here, so enough for 9 month's use by a single individual. The flosser attachment was the first accessory I tried. 20 disposable flossers are included in this set, enough for about 3 weeks if used every day, 1 month if you don't floss on the weekends, or 5 months if you only floss once a week. Each flosser has a pre-threaded length of floss held taut and secure in a little U-shaped frame. The flossers do not seem to vibrate when the device is powered on, especially if one is concentrating on maneuvering the flosser between 2 close-together teeth -- so if you like using pre-threaded flossers instead of lengths of dental floss, a set of disposable manual pre-threaded flossers would be a viable alternative to buying extra packages of the flosser accessory when the 20 included flossers are used up. The other 2 accessory types included here are a little rubber interdental pick/gum massager (which I haven't yet used, as there's only one included), and a miniature brush (about the same size as the rubber interdental pick, except there are 2 of the mini-brush), intended for cleaning along the gumline. Unfortunately, when I used the mini-brush attachment, it dislodged a filling along the gumline, so I don't plan to use the mini-brush again. The toothbrush attachment itself is very easy to use; however, if you have not previously used one or more of the accessory attachments, at the very least read the instructions on the back of the package very carefully before attempting to use them. You might also check YouTube for videos showing how to use similar accessories, or ask your dentist or dental hygienist to give you a quick tutorial on how to use the accessories (which may well be similar to those they use during a professional cleaning). Recommended IF you can learn how to use the accessories properly; otherwise, an electric toothbrush without accessories and a set of manual flossers would be a perfectly acceptable substitute for the Equate Power Oral Care Kit.
This toothbrush has a strong and loud vibration. It scrubs teeth well and the attachments are nice to have. It comes with 20 extra dental floss heads and three brushing heads, which is great! However, there is nowhere to store the extras that come with this kit. I wish it came with some kind of small storage container to keep extra attachments together so there's less of a chance of losing any parts.
The toothbrush worked well. My electric toothbrush died a week before I received this and I'm highly impressed by this battery operated toothbrush. It cleans my teeth just as well as the previous toothbrush. Two extra brush heads were included in the set. I was excited to use the floss pick, but that enthusiasm soon died after I couldn't remove the pick. No matter what I did it never came off. I couldn't use the other tooth picks nor the dental accessories.
This is the first powered toothbrush I've tried and it was okay. I liked it for cleaning my molars however my front teeth are a little sensitive and it was a little too strong for those. It is very difficult to change out the floss, in fact I never could successfully remove the old one. If there's a trick, it's not in the instructions. Because I couldn't remove the floss, I couldn't even try the other dental tools included. On the surface it seemed like a great dental kit but after trying it out, I am pretty disappointed.
Battery compartment stays loose. The bottom is constantly falling off so it stops working because the batteries are not in tact. I tried several things to make the bottom stay on. I bought 2 toothbrushes and they both do it. Useless if the “electric” aspect does not work.
