I have found that chewing 2 of these tablets works very well to prevent symptoms. One tablet wasn't sufficient for my sensitivity. For something lactose-heavy, like a milkshake, I usually need to use 3-4. I typically take them just before eating, but I have also used them after the fact when I forgot and they still seem to be helpful in minimizing the effects. I prefer this chewable type over the pills. They are more convenient for me and I think the vanilla taste is pleasant. I keep a stash in my purse and often put a couple in my pocket if I'm going to be at a function with food. I appreciate that I can buy these generic tablets less expensively than the brand name.
I luv my ice cream and lactose free ice cream does not come in a lot of flavors. But I can get regular ice cream in the flavor I luv %26 just use these tablets %26 it works beautifully. Very happy with this product. Will keep buying it over %26 over.👍
Recently I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance ( age 66) after years of not having a problem with dairy. It's difficult to find a lot of lactose-free items, but they are out there, it takes patience. So many things have dairy that I never realized. These tablets work very well and I have eaten a some cheese and had no problems.
I try to eat mindfully when it comes to dairy. Usually eating only eat small amounts of dairy, like very light cheese on a sandwich. As long as I take this before I eat and somethimes during, I end up being ok. Since i started taking this a month ago, I havent had a major inflammation episode in my intestines like I was having regularly. Taking this saves me from 10/10 pain in my stomach!
i dont know if its my system or just that its store brand. this did not help. I've used the used store brand a long time ago and it was fine. this absolutely nothing for me. i was still hurting after dairy.
i dred the taste of these. its sort of a vanilla but also tastes like the smell of old dusty house. they are not as smooth as the national brand.the national brand tastes much better however,these are half the price of the national brand and work just as well.
At 75, I rely on Lactase enzyme in order to manage food whether at home or out, because today mostly everything contains milk or a milk by-product. And milk is basically impossible for me since my system no longer naturally produces lactase. I can't really manage without using lactase enzyme. I prefer the Walmart Dairy relief brand over the Lactaid brand for both taste and price. I have for several years. I gave the low score because 2 out of 4 packages I received were smashed. It could have been prevented with a little pre care.
this app rarely works when I do online shopping it grays out and most of the items that I need are not available and then I have to ship them with a fee
I bought this product the 26th of Nov and picked it up the 27 th Nov. when I got it home, I noticed that the box was cut open. I then looked at the expiration date 02/22. That's several months out of date. This is the first time this has happened. I would like a refund.
