All about saving money by buying off brands! This product is just fine in taste(less), price, %26 mixture. For those negative remarks about the mixing factor, you are the problem not the product. Anyone experienced that adds any powder to a hot or cold beverage uses this, an inexpensive necessity!

Lower protein content than I'd like Pros: Unflavored as it states I feel including this in my diet could definitely prove to be beneficial in the long run. I love that there are no other unnecessary ingredients. Equate collagen peptide 1&3 powder, Overall: The directions state to mix it into a warm liquid and then mix it with your cold ingredients for cold drinks. This probably does work but I wasn't willing to warm up my chai tea concentrate just to cool it down again. So it did not mix well into the concentrate. It literally turned into a mass of wet powder ( if I had to describe it, it would be like Taffy or maybe like a thick glue) and stick to the spoon I was stirring with. But once I ran it in the blender it mixed perfectly. I was pretty disappointed that it didn't include a scoop and I wish it had a higher protein content. I truly appreciate that this didn't have any other added ingredients. I'm not 100% sure this would be my go to as I have heard that other name brand versions mix better even in cold drinks and I really would like it to include a scoop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you for letting me try the equate collagen supplement with peptides. Having tried other brands I can say this is a good alternative. The unflavoured powder still has a distinct taste almost chalky at times and I personally do not feel that it dissolves well in any liquids whether they are cold or hot. This is an issue I have with this product and other brands of powder that contain collagen and essential amino acids. Room temperature liquids seem to be the most effective in dissolving the powder. I also personally prefer flavored products. I do feel that the supplement has helped with my nails, skin elasticity and achy joints. The percentage of collagen per serving is 20g, which is comparable to other brands although the percentage of essential amino acids is slightly lower. I plan to finish this product but not sure if I will switch brands in the future.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does not dissolve properly in room temperature drinks and even when warmed up it still clumps up at the bottom. I have found that blending it with my smoothie helps with the consistency issue and the weird smell or taste .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I assumed it came with a scoop since the recycle tag states to replace lid and scoop but it did not. However, this collagen powder is not for me. I tried to like it by mixing it with different types of liquid, tried it in hot coffee with sweet cream and it definitely altered the taste, giving it a weird extra bitter taste. I also tried it in water and juice, the taste of it was again altered so there is definitely flavor to the powder.
I regularly purchased the black canister of this product and was greatly satisfied with it. It was very finely milled for quick and easy mixing, it was tasteless and at a better price point than VP or Origin. Not so any longer. This new formulation is gritty and tastes like chemicals. Awful.
I ended up purchasing this product because my normal brand (Orgain) was out of stock. Needless to say this was a mistake. This collagen clumps up and does not dissolve.
