My daughter is 3 and has a VERY crowded mouth. She's having oral surgery next month and her dentist recommended getting this brush to help get a deeper clean. After one use, I feel so much more confident about how clean her teeth are! Getting to the back of her mouth was quite the chore with a normal tooth brush but the size of this was a huge game changer for us. She didn't complain that it was too tight and never once cried about the pain. (Very sensitive mouth due to crowding). I loved that it came precharged as well. Ours came with 2 heads which was really nice because I can also use it for my son that is 2. He loved it and so easy to use even for a young age. Dental care is so important and I highly recommend using this to get a deep and easy clean!!! Huge thumbs up from this mama!!
Wish I would have found this sooner. I use it with my 3 year old. The bristles are even softer than the toothbrushes I've used in the past specifically marketed for toddlers. There is no age range listed, but I think it is fine for toddlers. My daughters mouth doesn't look to be irritated after about a week of use. I know I'm getting her teeth clean because the brush head is small enough to maneuver in her tiny mouth. I struggle to brush her teeth for very long (because she usually has better things to do!) but I know I'm getting the most out of the small amount of time she gives me to brush because of the very fast rotation. Great product so far.
Weâve had it for almost 2 weeks, still have not had to charge the battery. My son seems to love it
My kids are 5 and 7 and have been using battery powered Oral B brushes for years. I wanted to upgrade and bought 2 of these, but the kids find the brushing action too strong. They turn them on outside of their mouths and toothpaste splatters everywhere. I have an adult Oral B brush I find more gentle than this. I'm not sure the motor speed really has kids in mind...
DO NOT BUY!! Thought this toothbrush would be great since the head is small. I was rinsing it off and notice some black funk on it. Took the head off and it was covered in disgusting black mildew. The toothbrush head has holes in it so when my daughter is brushing her teeth the gunk is actually getting in her mouth also. Beyond disgusted.
Omgosh! I bought this for my daughter 2 months ago and realized there is black moldy gunk inside of the toothbrush head. The toothbrush head's design is flawed with an unnecessary opening where water and bacteria accumulate and gets nasty. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
I guess we get what we pay for. It hasn't been a long time since I purchased this toothbrush set. and I thought it was cool and all but recently got really disappointed and have my kids stop using it.... I found rust in the end of the motorized unit. the toothbrush part has lots of gunk accumulated in the inside. since the brush head has a hole, the gunk can escape there and children can literally get it in their mouth while brushing. please see pictures I took... the black dirt on the background are the dirt I took out of the brush head before even taking a picture and you can see that it still has a lot of gunk left inside.
When I bought this product in 2018, you could also buy packages of 3 replacement toothbrush heads. Now in 2019, Walmart stores and walmart.com no longer carry replacement toothbrush heads. They told me it was a manufacturer issue. But when you call Equate, the only way to reach them is through Customer Feedback, but you can't get any response about the selling or this product or the replacement heads. This is no longer a reusable product. This is no longer environmentally sustainable. If you want to throw $17.86 down the drain, you can. What a waste because this toothbrush is great for the kids.
I bought this for my 8yr old son. He used it the first night, after charging. He went to use it the next morning, and it didn't work. It sat on its charger all night. Very disappointed in this product. Unfortunately, we threw away the packaging so not only are we out the cost of the toothbrush, but we have to spend more money to purchase a more reliable brand.
My kids are 8 and 6 and can't use due to how strong it is. It is way to hard on their teeth and hurts them so much and they refuse to use it or even brush. So disappointed!
