Had a problem tooth removed, and stuck to liquids for a while. These were surprisingly tasty. A little salty, but much better cold.
This product is as good as the leading brands. Please consider this and compare the ingredients on Ensure. You will be surprised!! Yes, it's in my fridge!'
I love these protein drinks. They have it all.: more than have my protein needs for the day and loaded with all the vitamins and minerals I want. The price is much less than the name brands and tastes just as good.
I am very fussy when it comes to protein shakes and this is one of the best, equate and Fairlife are my 2 favorite brands. Equate is a much more affordable option than Fairlife. Another brand Premier vanilla leaves a bit of an aftertaste, and equate is more smooth, that's why I prefer equate over premier.
My husband needed protein after surgery. He doesn't like the overpowering sweetness of most protein drinks. He tried this one and loved it! After a week of drinking one or two a day, he is quickly regaining his strength and walking around the house without the aid of a walker.
The Max is a low carb protein shake which makes it good choice for diabetes. The flavor of the vanilla and the strawberry are both good; however, I've yet to find the strawberry in a 12 pack which is disappointing. I love chocolate, but in the Max drink it tastes like a vitamin to me.
Delivery was quick as promised, except it went to the wrong address. After watching for it all day, around 7pm I checked web site and saw it said delivered at 3:14. The delivery photo was upside down so hard to tell where it was left but definitely not at my house. With help from calling the store, package was located. My house number is prominently displayed, drivers just don't look.
It's not the worst thing I've ever tasted, but it is on the list. I prefer the other Equate *High Protein* Protein Shake over this one. They're both 30 grams of protein and 160 calories, they just taste different.
I have plastric boxes with lids by my door.. THIS IS WHERE I WANT MY PACKAGES IN THE PLASTIC BOEXES!!!!it was toss our on gravel.. broke mushrooms and unseal.. I took the tip back... Busted 2 shakes. k
First, there are 2 types of the Equate Protein drinks; High Performance and the other is Max Protein. I purchased both in chocolate. They have the same calories and protein etc., and they taste the same. I could not stomach the taste. I can't clearly describe the taste but there was something nasty about the chocolate flavor. It was sooo artificial tasting that it almost didn't taste like chocolate. It's the same consistency of Prem Protein drinks nor was it chalky. I really don't understand the difference between the two Equate drinks but for a dollar more, I'll stick with Prem Protein.
